To my most amazing flower followers!

I've been totally MIA from the socials these past few months, as - between creating the most beautiful blooms for my couples and fabulous events (ALWAYS my first priority ) - I've been behind the scenes building up Twillery's hire inventory and creating a new website! I have a few feathers amongst the flowers in this cap of mine. 😜

Since February, when it became live, with the help of many friends, family and even past brides, I've tweaked and tested each page and today I can officially invite you all to visit.

There will of course be continued updates as I refresh and refine the site to make everything even easier to find and plan your big day blooms!

I'm so excited to be beginning fresh, and with a new outlook on the upcoming events I'll have the joy of flowering for in the new season approaching.

The new website now provides a custom design calculator (for those seeking the ultimate WOW full-service wedding fleurs), flower season availability, pricing and budgeting tips, our hire inventory and a floral pictionary of bouquets to help you find the right description of your style.

Within the next year, there will be a blog, video tips and (I'm hoping) a direct online system to secure Twillery's pre-designed A-la-Carte menu offerings (no consultations needed!).

I hope everyone has been enjoying their holidays with their nearest & dearest, and getting full use out of their post Christmas & New Years 'comfy pants' 😂😂😂 .

A glimpse back to one of the glorious statement pieces of beautiful Chloe & Alexander's gorgeous wedding celebrations.

Tanya is a creative genius and one of the few cake artists I highly recommend, not just for her beautiful personality and delicious masterpieces, but in the last 10 years she is one of the very few cake crafters I've met who know how to correctly (and stylishly 😘) dress flowers on (and in) a cake.

While we ensured the best blooms (not left overs) were expertly hydrated, wired and sealed for styling, Tanya ensured they were resealed to food grade standards BEFORE inserting into her grand creation. Couples I can not emphasise just how important this small step is, for health and safety of you and your guests.

I loved loved LOVED working with Della Pollina Cakes and making magic for the most beautiful of couples.

- UPCOMING HOLIDAY BREAK ANNOUNCEMENT -

Hello Facebook Flower lovers!
First & straight out - I totes suck buds at the social media game....
yep...almost as much as making up a flower-related metaphors.

I've let a symphony of crickets land all over the socials...
Twillery - and I - had a MAMMOTH season (the biggest one ever) these past 7 months which came flying in on the curtails of some unforeseen & personal happenstances in the middle of last year, and despite best intentions, those crickets turned into cicadas...and then I think I accidentally starved them....yikes.

THE GOOD NEWS... I'm just about to wrap up the season -
THE BAD NEWS... I've had nil/nada/zip personal time to share the magic from floral-filled GLORIOUS days of my happy couples & special events!

Most of you who follow me on insta - will still have seen the stories we did get snapped & remembered to share 'of & within the petal prettifying process' - and of course caught a glimpse & fallen in love with so many of the amazing & talented professionals who've posted & shared images of the collaborative magic we've had the pleasure of helping bring to into being together.

Facebook updates, unfortunately, have completely fallen to the wayside, as I focused on the Googles, Website & Pinterest platforms.
And to be completely honest ... continued updates, algorithm changes, complicated Meta manager system, the fact that I've NEVER been one for staring at a small palm sized screen (to the horror of nearly ALL my friends, family & acquaintances) and most of my non-flowering time is spent in admin, collapsing into either a floral induced coma or snuggly couch potato after completing a full-service event - I've let the page slide near completely under the radar as I kept my focus on my couples & their big days - and getting it done.... how it should be.

As of this weekend - I'm excitedly and joyously commencing a much needed and highly anticipated holiday - Whoot!

Email will be set to Out of Office from April 1st & the work number switched off and into an office drawer as I recharge & reset.

From April 20th I'll slowly be replying to emails & enquiries received over my break (calls still diverted to voicemail though),

AND from April 27th Twillery will be back full swing amongst the blooms as we prep for our final event of the Season....A VISION of every shade of pink.... eeep I am so VERY VERY excited about this one.

Once our last full service wedding has been designed and delivered I'm hoping to start sharing some of the amazingness of the season here on Facebooklet land (& insta), finish updating the website & features/links/products on this page, giving shout out recommendations & accolades of the AHmazingness of fellow industry friends - both new & forever faithfuls - as well as and putting a new focus on the service and floral design that I can't help but love to give.

I can't promise a regular posting schedule... but I can promise quality design, fabulous floral inspiration and a bounty of beauty to set the heart a-flutter. If you do go into with-drawls however - make sure you hit the Pintrest and look me up...there's so much pretty from these hands over there that's YET to grace this page.

Ooh hey there! How's everyone feeling today?

I'm truly sorry to be bring up the big C word in your evening feed, particularly after the disappointing news we all received yesterday, yet I thought I would bring some peace-of-mind to both my existing and inquiring love-birds..⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
As the post states... Ms Twillery, aka MOI, is double dosed and has No.3 booster booked for 2 weeks time..Hip hip hooray! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Despite dreading yet another injection (diagnosed with a genuine & severe phobia of needles) this means open doors and fabulous fleurs for wherever we're headed to deliver and create event fleurs this year...huzzah!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While it looks like we're staying behind our borders for a little while longer ( truly devastating for so many who had made plans to visit family and friends they've not seen for years! My heart goes out to you guys), I'm continually taking & making sure precautions against potential risks are being action-ed and observed, be it on-site set-ups, delivering to from market and farmers and during consultations. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Sending out heartfelt and merrymaking wishes to all my couples, suppliers, growers, industry friends, supporters and flower lovers.

Today sees me finishing up the florals, bookings and quotes before spending some much anticipated down time with my nearest and dearest this Christmas.

I'll sporadically be checking in the emails & checking in with my two couples getting married over the break (cause I can't possibly go that long without hands on flowers lol), but other than that (and a few posts), its tools down feet up until the new year!

How much is that Arbour in the Window?...

With pretty much all of the info on pricing gorgeous statement peices within the floral industry being behind the scenes, there's so little info out there about what these feature floral designs actually cost, it's no wonder there's either sticker shock or complete confusion for couples when receiving estimates from different florists.

Well I might get a bit of blowback for this one (& why it's taken me a while to decide to post this) but at the end of this post, I'm going to share with you Twillerys pricing for this statement feature including our HIRE Golden Arch backdrop.

Whenever making a large investment, I always consider QUALITY and VALUE, not just in the product I'm purchasing, but the accessibility & service attached to that purchase.
