And so begins the busiest season! Full of birthdays, weddings, baby showers - so much to celebrate!

As much as I would have loved to create Father's Day packs this year, I had my hands (and fridge) full with custom orders, and wasn't able to make it happen this time. I am blown away and grateful that this is where I am at this point 🫶

So this Father's Day, I want to acknowledge that this little biz of mine wouldn't have been possible without encouragement and support from 2 fathers in my life:

1. My dad, who has always let me know that I am enough. When I was unsure about the future, he told me I could do anything I wanted, and he would be proud. When I wasn't happy with the results of my practise cakes (that he often had to eat), he told me not to be so hard on myself, I'm always learning. Thank you, Dad.

2. My husband, Chris, the dad to our kids. Always supportive of my baking dream, even though he's the logical brain in our relationship and knew that it would be a huge leap of faith to allow me to stay home and give this a go! He also keeps on top of my bookkeeping and has created about 1000 spreadsheets to help me out! Glad you're the brains, babe!

Emma's mum sent me a video of her competing in a sports aerobics championship. This girl has talent! I knew her cake had to be fun and vibrant, just like the joy-filled girl I saw dancing! Happy birthday Emma, and congratulations on making it to nationals! 💜💛

Mmmmud cake!
I choose to work exclusively with mud cake because it is rich and delicious! But also for its structural stability, carvability, and because it stays fresh and moist longer than other cakes. My mud cake uses real chocolate 🍫, butter 🧈 and eggs🥚to give you a totally decadent cake. Mmm 🤤 (Don't worry, my dairy free/egg free/vegan & gluten free options are also delicious!)

Usually my design process for cakes starts as soon as I receive your enquiry. But when it's for my own kids...I tend to be a bit last minute ⌛ After starting my son's cake at 10:30pm the night before his party last year, I swore I'd be more organised this time!
