**WHAT’s ON – WINTER WONDERLAND FAMILY RACE DAY**

It’s another Winter Wonderful family race day event coming up on Saturday, 20 July at Wyong Race Club.

We have even more free family fun entertainment – just the thing to wind up the winter school holidays, featuring:

- Synthetic Ice Skating Rink experience: where else but Wyong Race Club can you experience an epic synthetic ice skating rink – just like real ice skating, minus the cold!

- Kids Fashions on the Ice: Dress up in your favourite winter / frozen inspired fashions for a chance to win more great prizes, including movie passes to Event Cinema’s Tuggerah

- Kids arts and crafts: The kids will enjoy building their very own Olaf activity as well as playing with playdoh and building frozen castles with kinetic sand

- Special guest appearance Elsa from Frozen who will also be judging our kids fashions on the ice and enjoying arts and crafts with the children from 12:30pm to 2pm

- Face painting, jumping castle and toddler softplay area and pony rides on the Village Green – we’ve got all the family fun!

And for the grown-ups – shop the markets or head up to our Winter Wonderland Bar featuring our resident mixologist mixing up winter inspired fire and ice cocktails, live music and an exclusive free candy buffet (remember over 18s only for this one!)

Looking for an elegant dining experience? Jump onto the website and book your Winter Wonderland dining experience in our Murray Doyle lounge featuring Chef’s canape on arrival and 2 course luncheon with the best seats in the house.

All of this plus fabulous provincial racing is happening at Wyong Race Club – Saturday, 20 July.

A friendly reminder that tomorrow, Friday July 12th is the FREE Mingaletta NAIDOC Gathering celebration day! The Traditional Welcome and Smoking Ceremony and the talented Mingaletta Didge & Dance performers kick off our gathering from 10am. Browse the many beautiful Aboriginal arts, crafts and fashion stallholders. We will also have many wonderful community stallholders here with additional family friendly activities. There will be loads of FREE fun at our Traditional Weaving Corner, Face Painting, Jumping Castle and Kids Corner. Enjoy our FREE community BBQ whilst listening to the live music and connecting in with your community! We invite you to help celebrate our First Nations culture and keep the fire burning! Our winter wonderland inspired race day will be held on Saturday, 20 July from 11am and will feature... now wait for it.... A SYNTHETIC ICE SKATING RINK!

Where else but Wyong Race Club can you expect to enjoy such an unexpected experience alongside thoroughbred racing?

Grab your winter woollies and head to The Pavilion to try your hand at skating on synthetic ice. After a spot of skating, the kids will adore our Disney Frozen arts and crafts corner, creating fun Olaf crafts or getting their faces painted with wintry designs.

Prefer a relaxing cocktail? We’ve got that covered too in our Magic Millions Room where you’ll enjoy fire and ice inspired cocktails prepared by our resident mixologist. Chill out with DJ Renee mixing tunes and enjoy the races from a private terrace.

And did we mention the free candy buffet? Exclusive to our Magic Millions room for over 18s, you’ll be able to satisfy your sweet tooth with our epic candy buffet!

Our children's fashion fun parades are getting bigger and better and this Saturday, 6 July will be no different as the children once again take to the stage, this time with - wait for it - teddy!

That's right - it's Teddy's turn to hit the stage and enjoy the limelight in our Teddy Bear's on Parade kids fashion fun parade.

Children of all ages are encouraged to bring along their favourite teddy bear to take down the catwalk for a chance to win great prizes.

On offer we have:
