Handi-Hire and Dump’nPump are seeking a mechanically minded general handyperson to assist with general truck /vehicle repairs, repairs to hire equipment workshop repairs & maintenance.
3+ days per week on a casual basis with possibility for increased hours in the future.
Above award wages with re-assessment after 3-month probation period.
Essential Skills:
Sound mechanical knowledge
Basic welding
MUST be reliable, self-motivated, be able to work independently and part of a team, use initiative.
Other staff come and go during the day so you will often be working on your own (with the radio) so honesty, trustworthiness and loyalty are vital traits along with a sense of humor and co-operative personality.
About Us:
We are a local, family run business based in Woolgoolga, NSW, 2456. We run two businesses out of the 1 location, but we travel far and wide to provide our services.
Handi-Hire Weddings & Events – marquee hire, tables, chairs, event lighting, coolroom, catering equipment etc across the Mid North Coast.
Dump’n’Pump - portable toilet hire and servicing across the Mid North Coast, Far North Coast and New England regions.
The successful applicant will work across both businesses. Additional work in other departments may be offered if you are willing and capable. E.g., assist with event hire setup and dismantling, cleaning and preparation of hire equipment, and portable toilet pumpout and servicing. Truck and/or forklift licenses are beneficial, but not essential.
***IMPORTANT*** If you are scared of portable toilets, this job is not for you. General maintenance and repairs on the toilets is a large part of the position.
