The I do project is located at the Cas Curason di Maria (Blue Army Center) Aruba in the lovely town of San Nicolaas on the beautiful island of Aruba. The building formerly known as Fatima Convent has been and still is the center of operations for the World Apostolate of Fatima Aruba aka Blue Army Center Aruba. Setup
Now imagine yourself a Small intimate Chapel surrounded by a gorgeous g
arden that is in turn also surrounded by a building that used to be a convent. The location and peace in this place make it a perfect place to get married, where the Bride can reserve the facilities for up to 12 hours and be prepared for her wedding in a beautiful/spiritual atmosphere and facilities that will have all the wedding ceremony necessities in one place. Then after she is finished with all her pre-wedding preparations, all she has to do is walk through a corridor decorated to her taste accompanied by her wedding assistants and the person who is going to hand her over to her husband to be. The stairs and covered patio leading to the chapel that follow can be decorated to her and the grooms taste thereby handing over (to the soon to be married couple) a total control of the environment where one of the most important days in their lives will take place. The wedding will be taking place in a controlled environment where rain, wind, sunshine nor traffic will be the reasons holding up the wedding ceremony. The late Andres and Rita K**k (my parents) were the ones responsible for founding the Apostolado Mundial di Fatima Aruba (AMFA) and dedicated together 55 years of their lives to the AMFA. They acquired the former convent, maintained many of its beautiful features and also built additional facilities for the Center. This Center will now also house the I do project.
