During one of our last years weddings, a spontaneous and deeply moving moment unfolded. The bride stood before the guests and read a letter filled with gratitude, love, and remembrance.

She had lost her parents last year, yet in that moment, she ensured their presence was felt. With a quiet voice and heartfelt words, she said:

“Thank you to all our parents—those with us today and those who are not. Thank you for every moment of love and attention, for every sacrifice, and for shaping us into the people we are today. We will always be grateful.”

Her words resonated with all of us. They reminded us that weddings are not just about two people coming together—they are about the love that has surrounded us our whole lives.
