When I'm here, you don't even want to say my name or experience me fully.
When you do use my name, it's to fatten your pockets and appease a thirsty public.
Even on my biggest day, my climax, you disrespect me by singing and playing a lot of the songs of others.
Love me??
One day after, my people can't even hear the sweet strains of the melodies I produced on the airwaves.
You don't Love me. You don't give a damn, and it shows.
If not for certain mandates, You would hardly hear my name or my music.
Love Me?
You don't love me, care about me or respect me.
And that's a shame.
But who's to blame?
Blame is not even a game I care to play, because that gets us nowhere.
No one should be mandated or forced to play a part.
The love should be from the heart.
But you don't love me.
I guess it's goodbye for now and I'll hear you next year,
When you will swear that you love me.

The dynamic duo at it again. Lol. Seriously though, I'm so blessed to have this dude with me. Also super stoked that he willingly volunteers to wake up early to come in with me every chance he gets. I'm not perfect, but if I can leave a positive impression on him, then I'm doing my job.

It's World Poetry Day, and I decided to open the vault to go through some of my works from through the years. Some going back as far as 97'. Reading the work of others inspires me, but reading my own stuff ignites something more. I feel fueled up and fully charged. Nothing before its time, I guess. I'm at a stage now where I feel immersed in my passion rather than buried by bu****it. It's time to shine again...

There I was, sending a message and I looked up and saw myself in the glass. It's not a mirror, but it was reflective enough for me to look up and say, I'm not a bad looking specimen.
The moral I found in here is that you may not see things the way you want, but appreciate what you see.
The mirror image may not be clear, but I know that what I see is reflective of who I am in some shape, form or fashion.
