ফ্লাওয়ার গ্যালাক্সি ইভেন্ট ম্যানেজমেন্ট-এর পক্ষ থেকে চাঁদপুর তথা সমগ্র বিশ্বের সকলকে জানাই শারদীয় শুভেচ্ছা ও অভিনন্দন।

প্রতি বছরের ন্যায় এবারেও আমরা এসেছি ব্যতিক্রমী আয়োজন নিয়ে, আমাদের এবারের আয়োজন বৃক্ষ নিধন ও জীব বৈচিত্র্য ধ্বংস রোধ।

যান্ত্রিক সভ্যতার আগ্রাসনে ভারসাম্য হারাচ্ছে প্রকৃতি। নির্বিচারে নিধন হচ্ছে বৃক্ষ। পাখিরা হারাচ্ছে তাদের বাসস্থান। অপরিণামদর্শী মরুকরণের ফলে আমরা শিকার হচ্ছি জলবায়ু পরিবর্তনের কুপ্রভাবের। ঋতুগুলো প্রকৃতিতে এখন আর সময়মত আসে না। গ্রীষ্ম হয়ে উঠেছে আগের চেয়ে অধিক তাপদহ, বর্ষা অসময়ে এসে দাপট দেখিয়ে বেড়ায় দীর্ঘকাল আর শীতকাল এদের চাপে পরে সঙ্কুচিত হয়ে গেছে শঙ্কা জাগিয়ে প্রাণে। বৈশ্বিক উষ্ণায়নের কারণে হিমালয়ের বরফ গলে যাওয়ার যেমন আশঙ্কা দেখা দিয়েছে তেমনি ঘূর্ণিবাত্যায় অহরহ তৈরি হচ্ছে দৈব-দুর্বিপাক। আমাদের চিরচেনা প্রকৃতি ক্রমশ হয়ে যাচ্ছে অচেনা। বৃক্ষহীন বনহীন ধরিত্রী আজ গভীর সঙ্কটে। অবিমৃষ্যকারী মানুষের অত্যাচারকে মোকাবেলায় প্রকৃতিও আজ স্বয়ং বদলে গেছে রোষে-আক্রোশে।

প্রকৃতির আক্রোশকে প্রশমিত করতে আমাদের বৃক্ষ রোপন করা জরুরি। হাটে-মাঠে-ঘাটে, বাড়ির আশেপাশে কিংবা রাস্তার ধারে, ব্যস্ত সড়কের দ্বীপে কিংবা ছাদবাগানে, যেখানেই সুযোগ আছে সেখানেই বৃক্ষের সবুজে ছেয়ে ফেলতে হবে আমাদের। আগামী প্রজন্মের কাছে এ পৃথিবীকে বাসযোগ্য করে রেখে যেতে হলে বৃক্ষরোপন ও বৃক্ষের পরিচর্যার কোন বিকল্প নেই। আপনি বৃক্ষের যত্ন নিন। দিনশেষে বৃক্ষ আপনার যত্ন নেবেই নেবে। পৃথিবীর বুকে অক্সিজেনের কল বসাতে হলে বনায়নের যেমন বিকল্প নেই তেমনি বিকল্প নেই বৃক্ষ রোপনের। প্রতিটি পূজা উপলক্ষে বৃক্ষরোপনের কর্মসূচি রাখা আজ আমাদের পবিত্র কর্তব্য। পূজার মাহাত্ম্যকে বহুগুণে বিবর্ধিত করতে, মানুষের কল্যাণে মা দুর্গার ধরিত্রীতে আগমনের পবিত্র পক্ষকে পুণ্যবোধে উদ্ভাসিত করতে বৃক্ষরোপনই হোক আমাদের আজকের সময়োপযোগী নৈবেদ্য।
