On August 31, 2024, the Concert for Bangladesh will take place at Mukta-Mancha Sohorawardi Udyan, bringing together the community for a night of music, art, and charitable giving.
This free event will feature performances by talented Bangladeshi musicians, offering a vibrant and uplifting atmosphere. Attendees can also enjoy live face painting, where artists will showcase their skills, with all proceeds going towards the fundraising efforts. Volunteers will be stationed outside the gates to collect donations. Twenty percent of the funds will be allocated for the reconstruction of infrastructure that was affected by the flooding. Rest of the funds will go to injured protesters, families of martyrs and flood affected people.
