খুলনা জিলা স্কুল এবং সেন্ট জোসেফ হাই স্কুল , খুলনা ; খুলনার স্বনামধন্য এবং প্রথম দিকের স্কুল ( তর্কবিশেষে দেশসেরা স্কুলগুলোর একটি) । জঙ্গলে দুইজন রাজা থাকতে পারেনা - এ এক প্রাচীন অভেদ । এবং নিজের প্রতিষ্ঠানকে শ্রেষ্ঠ করার তাড়না সবার ভিতরেই বিদ্যমান। খুলনা জিলা স্কুল এবং জোসেফ স্কুলের অনেক ছাত্রদের পারস্পারিক সুসম্পর্ক থাকলেও অধিকাংশ ক্ষেত্রে তা ঢাকা পড়ে যায় শ্রেষ্ঠত্ব প্রমাণের এক অর্থহীন লড়াইয়ে। যুগ যুগ ধরেই এই প্রতিদ্বন্দিতা চলে আসছে । এই আবহমান কাল ধরে চলমান এক অর্থহীন চক্রের ইতি টানার সাহস অনেকে দেখালেও পরিবর্তনের পদক্ষেপ কেউ নিতে পারেনি ।
