Friday was the official launch of ‘Gezien en Gehoord’. A book that convinces, touches and creates impact.

We’re super proud to be a part of this beautiful project with our family & share our story. Vika has proudly worn her cochlear implants for many years now. As a chef, I know all too well how important the senses are. Being able to smell, taste, see
and hearing provides an extra dimension to life.

“Gezien en Gehoord” is an inspirational book for talents with a sensory challenge who are looking for a (first) job or want to take the next step in their career.
The book is also for employers, organizations, and governments that want more insight into the visual and auditory challenges of their (future) employees and how they can strengthen their organizations.

Extremely grateful to have been named "Chef of The Year" by Gault Millau and to have earned a score of 18,5/20 with The Jane Antwerp. ❤️

The title chef of the year goes to the chef, but actually not at all. This is only possible with a group of people around you who believe in what you stand for. Taking care of guests. Therefore, this award might be referred to as "team of the year" in my opinion. The large group of people who work around me. My wife and children who never whine "when daddy isn't there again" my core team that has been there for years, through thick and thin. And the group of people who together ensure that this title can be called “team of the year”.

Deep respect and thanks for this. I would like to congratulate all colleagues who made it in this year’s guide and for always pushing forward, through the good times and the bad.
Also a word of thanks to Gault&Millau Belgium. They again put in a lot of work this year to realize this event. You put a big heart under our belt every year and keep us sharp.

A once in lifetime experience.

On Monday we received no less than 58 Michelin stars in our restaurant for lunch.

I’m very honored that we were able to receive all chef colleagues in Antwerp and more specifically in our magnificent chapel, The Jane Antwerp. It was amazing to catch up and seeing everyone. Being ranked number 66 in The World's 50 Best Restaurants was just the cherry on top. 🙌🏻

I would like to congratulate all colleagues who got ranked in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants, in particular my good friend Willem Hiele who got ranked number 77 and Hof van Cleve with number 36 (Belgian pride!).

These amazing past few days couldn’t have been possible without the amazing organization of The World’s 50 Best & Flip World Foodie, our suppliers and most of all the dedication and hard work from our entire team and all the extra hands who came to help us. You guys are truly the best.

Thank you to all guests and colleagues for the enthusiasm, the sweet messages and the support. I will never forget these past days. 🙏🏼

Our team has been working hard to open this weekend with our newest concept: Terrazza J’Enoteca.

We can’t wait to welcome you again and serve you on our terrace.

A new open air concept starting this Saturday.

The opening of the terraces on May 8th, a prospect that both you and we are looking forward to.

We immediately got to work with this news and created a terrace concept: Terrazza J’Enoteca.

We’re striving for an accessible but refined concept; think great dishes, exquisite drinks, good vibes, some music and finally a moment of being welcomed as guests again.

Opened each week from Thursday to Sunday between 12 and 10 PM – depending on the weather conditions.
We will be sharing availabilities each Monday noon on the social platforms of The Jane Antwerp, reservations can be made up to 24h before.
