R&M Events Agency alongside Da Zicari, Cantine Pellegrino, and the owner of Dolce Forno from Realmonte at Note Di Vino! 🍷 This unique event brought together the best of Italian flavors and culture. Guests enjoyed a tasting of Pellegrino's finest Sicilian wines, alongside pairing boxes featuring handpicked products, carefully matched to enhance each wine’s flavor. Our Date with Wine experience added a touch of mystery, allowing guests to purchase a pre-wrapped surprise wine. To top it all off, a 5-course gourmet dinner was served, with each dish paired perfectly with a Pellegrino wine. The night was filled with smooth jazz classics by Laurent Doumont and his project L'americano, creating an unforgettable evening of Italian charm.

With a great edition of the Krac (KoRtrijk Aan Culturen) Wereldmarkt behind us, we look back with great enthusiasm at what R&M Events Agency in collaboration with Stad Kortrijk, FMDO and Oxfam wereldwinkel realised during the Sinksen in Kortrijk. This year, the Krac Wereldmarkt moved to Groeningepark due to its growing popularity. With a larger square and more space, we were able to expand. So we transformed the Groeningepark in Kortrijk into the Kingdom of Cultures.

- First up, R&M Events Agency introduced a partner dossier this year to give companies the chance to become ambassadors of a stand/country. This way, the company could express itself as a company that stands for diversity and inclusiveness.

- City of Kortrijk's theme for the entire Sinksen was ‘Fairy Tales’. We let our creativity loose for Krac and worked out a beautiful concept with an accompanying, self-written, fairy tale. Koninkrijk Der Culturen stands for diversity where the masks come off and everyone can be themselves and show their culture/origin to the rest of the world. This is in stark contrast to the underlying message of the venue our event continues. (Groeningepark and the monument are seen as a symbol of the Flemish freedom and independence against foreign domination) We chose to transform the stage into a castle and have the statue standing in the square stand out nicely in the middle as a kind of statement.

- We have rectified what used to work less efficiently to smooth operation in the bar, kiosks and redemption booth. This by rearranging these workplaces and clear division of tasks.

- R&M Events Agency was responsible for the floor plan with associated crowd control, creative development, partner dossier, social media, development of the bar/ exchange stand/kiosks, stage design and during the event we had a helicopter view of the entire course of the Krac Wereldmarkt as well as the main responsibility and point of contact for all crew members. The further elaboration of the event was a shoulder to shoulder cooperation with the City of Kortrijk, FMDO and Oxfam Wereldwinkel, where we made decisions together.

Today is World Down Syndrome Day and at R&M we are exceptionally proud of our commitment to explore ways to integrate people with intellectual disabilities into our public events.
This initiative stems from a deep personal connection and conviction. We believe in the power of inclusivity and the unique perspectives that people with intellectual disabilities can bring to our events. Their ability to spread happiness and laughter is a gift that we're eager to share with our audience, making our events not just more inclusive, but also more joyful and memorable for everyone involved.

Remco, one of our founders, has developed a deep connection with people with intellectual disabilities, having been introduced to them at an early age through his mother's work in an institution for people with intellectual disabilities. This experience showed him the immense joy in life and genuine smiles of these people. "These amazing people bring so much joy. So why not share this joy with the visitors of our events?" says Remco about the motivation behind our initiative.

In support of this goal, we are happy to share a photo together with Laurens, whom some of you may recognize as one of the participants in "Down The Road." Laurens, who previously stayed at the institution where Remco's mother works, shared numerous adventures with Remco. It was from this relationship that we were inspired to come together again to celebrate this special day.
