Dear cabin crew. Dear flight attendants. Dear passengers, dear airport ravers.
Today our heart bleeds; not kerosine, because that would pollute the dancefloor. It would ‘contaminate the soil underneath us’. It bleeds love. It bleeds the freedom to dance and share music.
The government may withhold us from entering their property, they can’t prevent us from dancing.
So what may not occur today, will happen tomorrow.
We must Fly Life & it’s going to be A Lovely Flight.
So today, to honor our cancelled, no postponed event; I mixed my selected Kamping Kersosine tracks. Pretending you were all in front of me. Barefooted in the grass or on the tarmac. With a drink and a smile. All facing the same direction. A plane takes off, all hands go up, the bass kicks in… We got perfect motion.
So close your eyes. Spread your wings. Start your inner engine. The sky is blue, the runway is clear. Destination Unknown. Captain, we’re ready for take off.

Our hearts are broken.

We are devastated to inform you that Kamping Kerosine 8 won't be allowed to take place on June 17th. Beyond our control, the owner of our land (Vlaamse overheid) fabricated an overly cautious assessment of PFAS pollution in the area, bolstered by vague arguments and repetitive reasoning.

Unfortunately, this issue is omnipresent in Antwerp, and we obviously support the ongoing assessment. But despite us following their very own PFAS guidelines on this matter by the book, our tiring efforts were to no avail. It always felt like a fight we were not supposed to win.

As of now: kindly give us time to digest this utter setback. We will try to provide further information in the coming weeks about any alternative date or location.

We wholeheartedly hoping to see all of you there.
