Belgian Potterheads is dé vereniging voor alle fans die de magische wereld van Harry Potter willen beleven. Hun missie? Tovenaars en heksen samenbrengen op een unieke, levendige manier! 🪄✨

Een groot deel van hun toverkunst verspreiden ze via Facebook, waar iedereen welkom is om een kijkje te nemen in hun betoverende groep. Van de nieuwste spreuken tot fanfavoriete momenten uit de tovenaarswereld – alles komt voorbij!

Maar dat is nog niet alles! Naast hun online community organiseren ze ook een reeks magische evenementen. Denk aan: een betoverende Yule Ball, griezelig leuk Halloween-feest, exclusieve filmpremières, stadsspellen én complete Harry Potter-weekends! Er is werkelijk voor ieder wat wils. 👀

I’m thrilled to announce I’ll be joining as a guest at the brand-new convention “Geek Village”! My main focus is bringing gaming characters to life at several locations, albeit I’m also dipping my toes in the anime cosplay scene these days.

My journey started about ten years ago and the biggest joy is being able to make armor and props, and I’m beyond the moon to bring this experience to Genk. Let’s meet up, have fun together, and ask away if you have any questions. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you!

Hello everyone! Selkie here! 🦭
I’m really excited to announce I will be a guest at the brand new convention “Geek Village”!

It all started in 2018 when I went to well known conventions to taste the fantasy and reenactment world.
Thanks to my obsession with Bakugo Katsuki in 2020, I found the world of cosplay. Since then, I created a couple more cosplays. My most favorite characters are actually the lesser-known underdogs and bringing them to life by cosplaying/genderbending.
Also I’m a bodypaint model, which gave me the chance to give life to Kratos, Neeko and the Female Titan !

If you want to know more about my journey in these worlds, I will gladly tell you more about it when we meet in Genk.
I’m really excited to be part of this new convention so let’s meet up on the 17th of November at Geek Village and make amazing memories together!

🎨We are beyond excited to finally introduce the creative force behind our stunning logo, and the playfulness and imaginative approach of our branding and new house style – say hello to An Mangelschots better known as PixieMindArt ! 🌟

An has been instrumental in shaping the visual identity of Geek Village, bringing our vision to life with her incredible designs. Not only did she craft our logo, but she also worked hand-in-hand with our website team at Creatic Digital Agency to ensure the website reflects the vibrant and energetic spirit of Geek Village. 💻✨But that’s not all!

An is currently working on so much more for our event, and we can’t wait to show you everything she has in store. From exclusive artwork to special event designs, her creativity knows no bounds. More of her stunning artwork will be featured on our website soon. As this is our first event, we’re still building out the content, but we’re excited to share more as we continue to grow! Though she sometimes doubts herself, there’s absolutely no reason for it! Shirow’s talent hasn’t gone unnoticed, earning him the Rising Star Award and the prestigious Guido De Mey honorary award at the 20th Knokke-Heist comic festival in 2023.

I'm beyond excited to finally announce that I’ll be joining you all at Geek Village 2024 in Belgium! 🇧🇪 As many of you know, I’m a plus-size cosplayer and influencer from the Netherlands, and I’ve been living and breathing cosplay for the past 14 years.

Cosplay, makeup, and body positivity are my passions, and I’m all about inspiring people to feel great in their own skin, no matter your shape or size. Whether it’s through creating characters that fit your body type or just sharing tips on self-confidence, my goal is to spread joy and positivity in everything I do.

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟

We are thrilled to introduce Renee Rienties (Art of Renee Rienties), a talented Dutch cartoonist and illustrator, as one of our special guests at Geek Village 2024! 🎨📚

Renée, born in 1993, is passionate about Japanese manga and American comics. A graduate of Cibap in Zwolle, she made her professional debut in 2016 with the gag strip "My Daily Life Comics." Since then, she has contributed to various projects, including "Oyasumi," "Snelle Sam," and the comic series "Camille - Niet te stoppen!" centred around Flemish pop star Camille. Her promotional illustrations for the Formula 1 program on Ziggo Sport are also widely appreciated. 🏎️✨

Not only is Renée a master of her craft, but she also serves as a manga coordinator and curator for The Big Draw in Nijmegen. Her work inspires and entertains many, making her a prominent figure in the Dutch comics scene.
