We zijn enorm blij om te melden dat Louis Talpe naar Geek Village komt! Bekend als Mega Toby in de Mega Mindy reeks en als de stem van Buzz Lightyear in de Disney-film Lightyear, brengt Louis een heleboel magie met zich mee. ⭐️ Hij was ook te zien in de spannende film The Racer, waar hij zijn talent voor het grote scherm verder heeft laten schitteren! 🎬

Louis zal op zondag bij ons aanwezig zijn van 13:00 tot 17:00, klaar om jullie te ontmoeten, handtekeningen uit te delen en samen op de foto te gaan. 📸 Mis deze kans niet om een van Vlaanderen’s meest geliefde acteurs live te ontmoeten!

⚔️ Cosplay Contest:

We believe in recognizing all top podium finishers. At Geek Village, every winner will get the recognition they deserve—not just the first place! Here are the prizes for the top 3:

🥇 1st place: €250
🥈 2nd place: €150
🥉 3rd place: €75

💥 Contest Sign-Up: All sign-ups for the contest go through BeCosplay, so follow them for updates and make sure you don’t miss out!

📸 Geek Village Calendar: Contest participants will also have the chance to be featured in the official Geek Village Calendar. Cosplayers taking part in the contest are invited for a professional photoshoot at our stunning venue on the event day! 🌟 The calendar will be available for pre-order at the event and later online.

🎨 Spotlight on Jos Vanspauwen at Geek Village! 🎨

Known for his talent as an inker on iconic Belgian comics, Jos Vanspauwen will be joining us at Geek Village 2024! Jos has brought characters to life in De Kiekeboes since 2011, collaborating with artists like Merho to craft one of Flanders' most beloved comic series. His work spans decades and includes renowned collaborations with Dirk Stallaert on Mieleke Melleke Mol, Marc Verhaegen on Senne en Sanne, and Charel Cambré on Albert & Co and Jump.

Jos started his career in the 1980s, working on the German Bessy comics with Studio Vandersteen. His journey continued with projects for Studio Peyo on The Smurfs and many local publications. Today, he’s celebrated for his digital inking, bringing depth and vibrancy to comics beloved across Belgium.

Don't miss the opportunity to meet this talented artist at Geek Village and get a closer look at his journey in the world of Flemish comics!

I've been cosplaying for a few years and totally fell in love with the posing and photo part of it all. I really love doing elaborate photoshoots where I can bring the characters to life! I can spend hours experimenting with makeup and days weathering my props with paint. 🎨✨
