Enjoy a unique, up-close and hands-on experience that gives you a rare insight into the art of falconry whilst educating the importance of the conservation of birds of prey. Being the first and only establishment in the Kingdom to provide lessons in Falconry, we have combined practical demonstration together with a ‘hands on’ approach to create a fun, informative and safe environment for all ages.
Learn all there is to know about these magnificent birds of prey, from their psychology to to how to tame and train them. Our long term mission is to promote the conservation of Birds of Prey through awareness and education. We also aim to stop the illegal import and the trapping of Birds of Prey in the country. Our Falconry Certification Courses are taught during a series of theoretical and practical sessions with our Instructor. The Courses enable students to study in convenient study modules. They take place on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:30pm, and last approximately 2 hours. Our Falconry Certification Course consists of 3 levels each with a duration of 6 months. Each individual certification level can be completed over a period of 6 months. The syllabus for each level includes a certificate, which is signed by your instructor when you pass the course. When you sign up for Level 1, you will be given a copy of the Course Manual, together with a Record Book, which includes the syllabus and logs your training and your field time. Level 1 is a full entry level certification. If you wish to continue your training with Bahrain Falconry School and certify at higher levels, the syllabus for Levels 2 and 3 will clip into your Record Book. Levels 1, 2 and 3 and are Bahrain Falconry Certifications only however they show that you hold the skills necessary skills to care for, train and house a bird of prey.Completion of any or all of these
Levels 1, 2 and 3 do not 'qualify' you as a falconer, nor do they infer any legal level of qualification to take up the sport however, you along with others associated with this profession will value the certificates. Legislation permitting you to become a falconer varies from country to country and must be strictly adhered to by those wishing to keep birds of prey for falconry purposes.
