The Rabbit Box is a theatre complete with bistro and bar nestled in the heart of Pike Place Market. Open for calendared events only while we build.

We feature literary events, live music performances, kids matinees, comedy acts, live streams, artist interviews and so much more. Link in bio for event dates and times. Dine in delicious fare from chef, Alfonso Galan during event hours Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

“When I was little, I heard music in everything,” Davis tells SPIN over Zoom after apologizing for the constant loud noises coming from their cell phone (“Forgive me – everything in my life talks,” they say with a huge smile, in a voice as naturally harmonious as their songs). “Music was like a language. There was no quintessential moment where I knew it was magic — it just was. It always was. It’s like breathing. But I didn’t really have anybody to share it with, or the means to share it with people the way that I wanted to. I definitely played in churches sometimes, or maybe if a friend came to the house, they’d be like, ‘OK Brittany, play us a song.’ I felt like a one-trick pony, and I didn’t know how to express my desire and pain through my music. It was almost like a second skin.”

For more than 20 years, Christine Tassan, an outstanding guitarist, has been steering her ship with boundless enthusiasm and confidence. Blessed with an absolutely contagious dynamism, she is one of the rare female jazz and gypsy jazz guitar soloists; and she stands out for her sensitive playing, her quiet strength, and her irresistible audacity. As a singer, composer, writer, director, and producer, she has contributed to numerous musical projects in Quebec and internationally, both as a leader and as a guest musician (most notably with The Lost Fingers, Paul Kunigis, Le trio Martin Bellemare and Canto Tango).

Martin Luther King Jr. Day
A time to reflect upon his words and actions in pursuit of social justice, to apply those teachings inside ourselves and within our communities.
It is crucial to uphold decency and truth as a light for today and in the long years ahead of us. We are in this together, with art and music to pave the way, allowing that light, that joy in and despair to exist with no explanation needed, to hold these freedoms in our hearts so that they cannot be denied.

For all, the Rabbit Box is an invitation to pause, gather one’s thoughts, send a letter to a friend or loved one, imbibe, revive, and enjoy the moment of life that one is living. By resurrecting and recreating forgotten traditions and the little rituals of days past, the Rabbit Box serves as a reminder that the simple pleasures of life are ours to make, and that the power to bring beauty to the world and begin anew lies within us all.

The Rabbit Box welcomes an all star line up of Seattle’s talented singers, songwriters, musicians & big hearts, coming together to help raise funds for victims of the LA fires. If you can’t make it in person - you can still donate to the cause, every little bit matters!

Drink specials provided by are on the menu with proceeds going to aid in the fundraising effort.

While there are many great organizations that are helping with the relief effort, proceeds raised tonight will go to Impacted Black Community, 805 UndocuFund & Pasadena Humane Society

We are grateful to the Seattle community in all its generosity of stepping up to help and look forward to seeing you soon!
