As a floral and event planner, remember that when working with your clients, whether new or current, there are various unforeseen "setbacks" that can happen. By avoiding these challenges, you can improve your clients' and your own experiences, so aim to avoid these common setbacks: 👎
Part 2️⃣
✨Ignoring venue limitations: Every location has restrictions that may impact decor and floral arrangements. Inspect and talk about venue limits before finalising designs. Consider space, hanging item rules, and candle/open flame restrictions. 🚫
✨Ignoring logistics and transportation: Floral arrangements and decor items must be transported from your workshop to the venue. Plan logistics in advance for easy delivery and setup. Make sure you have the right vehicles and packing for the arrangements' size and delicacy. 🚛
✨Overpromising and under-delivering: Set client expectations reasonably. Avoid overpromising on time and budget. Be upfront about potential and constraints, offering alternatives when needed. Overdelivering is preferable than under-delivering. 🙌
✨Ignoring details: Small details can make a big difference in floral and decor designs. Table sets, linens, lighting, and other aspects matter. Before the event, check everything. 🔎
Being aware of these setbacks and taking action to solve them will improve your floral and decor planning services, client satisfaction, and overall enjoyment! 🌟
