My name is *Bakang Joel Mothene*, and I am currently pursuing my *Diploma in Public Health* at the *Gaborone University College of Law* *and Professional Studies*. Today, I stand before you, not just as a student, but as someone deeply passionate about the health and well-being of our institution

Protocol is highly observed. My name is Tebogo Sekalaba, I am a Bachelor of Laws LLB (Honours) student in GUC Broadhurst Industrial and I am running for the seat of The Minister of Academics. Should I be the Minster of Academics, I will do the following;

•host an academic decathlon, whereby the students of GUC will be participating in academic seminars related to their programme of study,
•collaborate with other institutions to host the academic competitions that engage students
• ensure students have access to counselling and wellness resources
• advocate for inclusive education that is special education for students with special needs and advocating for the resources they need to better their education
• introduction of the first ever Spelling Bee to cultivate the reading culture
• work with the university administration to improve and standardize the quality of feedback on student work
• hold regular meetings with class representatives to gather feedback and address concerns.

I urge and encourage the student body to vote based on a shared vision for an effective acadenmic environment.
