KTM Choir From Botswana Conquers the World!

The from has done it once again! Having won a gold medal at the European Choir Games in 2019, it has done it again at which just ended in Gangneung, South Korea.

The choir won the gold medal with 86.00 points, in the ‘Folklore With Accompaniment’ category. The choir faced stiff competition from 6 other choirs from , , Taipei, and .

Under the directorship of Terrence Dube, the choir put up a sterling performance of Botswana folklore music like ‘Mmamati mpelegele ngwana’ giving the world a feel of good Botswana .

The choir proved its mettle once again at this highest stage of choral music, the only African choir in this category, getting a GOLD MEDAL.

Congratulations to them for an amazing win and flying our nation’s flag high on the global stage.
