A special neighbour turned 9 today! Her favourite things are Ed Sheeran, trolls and cats 🤣 She is quite a lot of fun, so I added something special to her balloons. Her reaction did not disappoint! Happy Birthday Lauren 🥳

First all foil tower for kinder grad! Our school board has banned latex, which I’m not fond of, but it did force me to get creative with all the graduation balloons this year!

I donated this arch to a bike rally. It was hosted by the pre-school my kids used to go to. The balloon garland was re-used from another balloon arch I had done earlier that week. I simply added some blue and greens, and voila! a newish garland was born! I know everyone is spraying hi-shine on their balloons to make them glisten, but I actually prefer the oxidized look of the balloons once the sun hits them! Also, the idea of kids slipping, because of the hi-shine, keeps me up at night!

I was able to witness this beautiful girl in her dress before church today. Her smile and excitement for her day warmed the room. A communion is one of those beautiful events that brings a family together. Family doesn’t always bring harmony, but they do bring a good time and the feeing of celebration! This party theme was pure goals! Obviously the mom behind it is pretty awesome! There were matching cookies and a really fun set up! So much love for little Jacob. Even Jacob’s older sisters helped setup while Jacob had a good pre-birthday snoozes 😴 Wishing this special guy a great birthday 🥳

My weekends are full of deliveries, which feels really special, but the weekends also seem to just pass by. I have decided that I am going to be more present at my installs and really get a feel for the people there.
After this install today, I was reflecting on how I felt at the delivery. The bride-to-be was there with a whole crew of people ready to help get the party ready. It felt so comforting being in a space where the bride was so supported and loved. The bride’s crew had the entire room decorated before I was done the balloons, so I was able to witness the entire set up. It was gorgeous! I could see the vision and hard work come to life.
As well, they were discussing the menu and some select guest’s dietary needs. It was so nice hearing the focus and care that was put into meeting each guests’ needs. I always believe that a party is for the guests. It is a celebration for the host, but the care you put into planning your party shows your guests how much you love them. I could tell today that there was a lot of love for the invited guests. I am so lucky to have absorbed this little glimpse of a celebration today ❤️ Congratulations to the bride-to-be 👰🏻‍♀️
