Can you believe all the beautiful dahlias my Grandpa used to grow on the farm out at Dapp? And this wasn’t even all of them! Digging out all the tubers in the fall, storing them in the basement over winter and then planting hundreds of tubers in the spring = a lot of work! He certainly was a green thumb.

I guess I was meant to grow flowers 💐

Meet my pretty poppy t-shirt. I have dreams of curating gift bundles with a locally grown, curated in the country bouquet of flowers, with a poppy t-shirt = the perfect little birthday or bless a friend gift 💐 👚

My garden always has growing a number of different varieties of poppy (which the bees love and they are one of the first flowers to bloom)…then when the beautiful petals fall off, I find the pod so beautiful, so each of my bouquets have at least 5 poppy pods tucked into the bouquet (my signature touch).
