4 different DJs will bring you all your favorite Emo and Pop-Punk classics. From sing-alongs to danceable remixes, we're bringing the Emo Night formula to on March 4th.

Okey dokey, here we go.

What an amazing time, we were afraid the cold weather was going to cool off Banff Punk Night but it didn't hold anyone back. So many people showed up from every direction that we might have to start calling it Alberta Punk Night.

Big ups to the bands. Trench Hound, Turnaroundsband and Down The Barrel each helped bring energy up to a fever pitch and The Corps ran with it, closing out the show with a non-stop hour of punk-rock power.

We really can't thank The Pump & Tap Tavern, Banff enough for letting us launch this great live show series. Thanks to Lauren and Frenchie for keeping the drinks flowing.

Another big thanks goes to Max Senior for running sound and fiddling the k***s at the shows.

Thanks to Krys A Mchugh from Through the Looking Glass photography for coming out to take some snaps too.

Rocky Mountain Records is the closest thing Banff has to a record store. The online shop is the love child of Mark Calcafuoco, an avid record collector that takes great pride in rehoming new and used vinyl, sharing good music with collectors all over the world. It all started being heavily interested in the punk rock scene as a teenager and slowly kept collecting until I had access to adult money and I quit drinking that it really took off.

The Corps

Years ago it was written, in an ancient scroll, that a threat would dawn upon Sector 2814, a threat so large, it would require four carefully selected humans to bear the unheard-of Grey rings just for a chance at this sectors survival.

This threat has arrived, and these four humans have been selected. So it begins.

As darkness slithered unnoticed into 2814 posing as music, few were aware of the ever dimming light. But there were four souls who saw through the lies.

The gods they had served for years, still on the battle field, will someday relent with pride and pass down the torch. These four will charge their rings and make a stand until the deaf hear the light.

Turnaroundsband

Born too late for the 90’s punk boom and warped tour but born too early for whatever’s next, Turnarounds are a Canadian Punk rock trio hailing from Calgary, Alberta.

Formed in 2023, the trio wasted no time breaking into the local scene. Performing for most of the Summer, the band would release their debut single and following EP quickly following the summer, and then a full length album the year after.
