Don't be fooled by the initial appearance of these bouquets. In just a few days, the tulips and daffodils will be in full bloom. Harvesting at this stage is ensuring the longest possible vase life(last photo is an example).

These two bunches will be available tomorrow at 8am for $20 cash or etransfer.

Tulips are blooming one by one, hence the reason for only two available bouquets. However, there is more to come!

Thank you to everyone who bought my flowers today I sold all but one mason jar, which is amazing! I hope everyone loves them and I would love to hear your feedback so I can keep learning. I plan to make more pumpkin arrangements for next week, so stay tuned for my post. 🎃🌸🍁

Hello! Welcome to Avery’s Blooms! I am a beginner at growing cut flowers and selling arrangements. This was my first year trying things out and I hope to continue growing more next year. This is the correct harvest stage of a Narcissus aka Daffodils. This is called the goose neck stage. The neck is bent and you can see colour at the tip. To get longer stem length you can actually pull at the base of the stem instead of cutting. Over time you will see the beauty of the Daffodil unfold 🌼

After pre sprouting your Dahlias you can easily make more plants from just cuttings! Each cutting will grow its own tuber and by the end of the season you will have so many more plants to do the same thing the following year! Make a clean cut at the base of the cutting once there is at least 2 sets of leaves. Dip the end of the cutting in a rooting hormone. Then place the cuttings in the cell trays that are filled with moist soil. Make sure to pre make holes in the soil with a pencil to allow the cutting to be placed. Place in the sunlight or under a grow light. Don’t over water!! Once your last frost is done then you are ready to plant them in the garden! 🌸🌸 #dahlia #dahliacutting #flowerfarming
