Ontario’s top mixed martial arts fighters will battle in 4 weight divisions at 8 p.m., Friday, August 13th, when Global Warriors Fighting Championship presents a nine fight card at the Hamilton Place. Tickets are available for $69.50, $99.50 and $149.50 for cage-side seating as well VIP tables will be made available plus applicable service charges. “This upcoming event will be like no other fight Ontario has seen before. We have an incredible combination of being at Hamilton Place and with the fighters in a cage, this is sure to be an explosive night of action and entertainment,” said Garnet Ace, a spokesperson for Global Warriors Fighting Championship. The fight card includes local favorites as well as fighters from all the major training camps in the Ontario region, including the recently announced TapouT Training Center in Hamilton, will compete in this first Global Warrior Fighting Championship MMA card, which is subject to change.

Global Warriors Fighting Championship Forced to Cancel June 24 Event.

It is with the deepest of regret that Global Warriors Fighting Championship is forced to announce the cancellation of Global Warriors 3: Night of Champions, which was scheduled to take place June 24th from the Brantford Civic Centre in Brantford, Ontario.

Once again in a similar situation to the earlier event postponement there are issues beyond the control of Global Warriors as a promotion. In advance of the planned June 24th event, Global Warriors Fighting Championship submitted a bout sheet that the promotion believed was sound, upon review several of the proposed fighters were not given sanctioning. Global Warriors made every attempt to adjust the bouts to be able to gain sanctioning and bring the best possible event to the fans but found planning was hampered due to a lack of licensed fighters in the province of Ontario.

Global Warriors Fighting Championship was founded to give local talent a chance to shine in front of their friends and family while providing the platform to have a chance to make it to one of the world renown mixed martial arts promotions.

Global Warriors Fighting Championship will now look to reassess and return as a better promotion as the landscape of the sport changes in the province of Ontario.

All ticket holders will be able to receive a refund on tickets through their point of purchase

Night of Champions in Brantford Gets Postponed
Pro MMA event rescheduled

Hamilton, Ontario, Friday, May 20, 2016 – Global Warriors 3 - Night of Champions scheduled for this May 28 has been postponed. The event will now be held on Friday, June 24 at the same location, Brantford Civic Centre in Brantford, Ontario.

“The date change does not affect our ticket holders and scheduled matches will be held.” Said Garnet Ace, Founder, Global Warriors. “Global Warriors is dedicated to bringing the best of Ontario mixed martial artists to the ring. Medical licensing issues throughout the scheduled card has proved extremely difficult in gaining approval with the commission. We want to ensure the best match ups for our fans and with this pivot we will resume our mission to further develop the talent of mixed martial artists in Ontario and Canada.”

‘Night of champions’ expects to draw 3,500 fans, coaches and members of the combat sport community to Brantford, Ontario.

Very Please to announce that Professional MMA is back in Ontario Global Warriors Fighting Championship will be coming to Brantford, Ontario May 28th at the Brantford Civic Center. Our last show in Burlington was a sellout and this show is going to be even better (all fighters are subject to approval via the OAC)- If fighters want on the card, they need to be licensed by the OAC ASAP. Althought we are in the early stages of finding top opponents we have two title fights on are the line - Who will be crown the best Bantamweight in Canada Josh Hill 13-1 at 135lbs vs (let's here some names) and who will be crowned the top lightweight Alex Ricci 9-3 at 155lbs vs (let's here some names). Also, on the card will be raising stars Lyndon Whitlock, Adam Maverick Assenza, Dave Hale Scott Macovi, Scott Hudson Ontario fight fans will also get there first look 18 yr old phenom T.j. Global Warriors Returns to Burlington’s Central Arena May 30th Burlington, Ontario – Global Warriors Fighting Championships has made official the promotion’s return to the Ontario MMA scene announcing a May 30th, 2015 date in Burlington, Ontario at the Central Arena. A longtime staple in the Golden Horseshoe sports circuit, the Central Arena was opened in 1968 & was the traditional home to the powerhouse OJHL Burlington Cougars. In partnering with the Central Arena, Global Warriors Fighting Championship has cemented a relationship with one of the most popular community athletic facilities in Southern Ontario. Much as Global Warriors’ original offering was packed with star power, May 30th at Central Arena will see many of Ontario’s best young fighters return home for the first time in nearly three years. Main Eventing the May 30th show will be Hamilton’s “Gentleman” Josh Hill (10-1). Coming off of an incredible effort to attempt to take the WSOF Bantamweight Title from world top 10 Marlon Moraes, Hill will look to bounce back from his only career loss. With career victories over the likes of Randy Turner, Kiko Lopez, Eric Wilson, John Fraser & a show stopping KO of Mike Adams, Josh has proven time & again that he belongs amongst the best Bantamweights in the world. Josh will bring a strong fanbase and the motivation to score his 11th career victory and launch himself back towards a Championship fight.
