Kick off your holiday season with a good old fashioned Kitchinparti Christmas! Join ECMA nominated trad trio Kitchinparti at the Brigus Social House on Saturday, November 30th for a night of delicious food, great music, and a few laughs.

Kitchinparti:
Kitchinparti is a three piece traditional Newfoundland band composed of Tyler Humber (vocals, guitar), Terri Lynn Hickey (vocals, tin whistle), and Justin Hickey (vocals, bass). Known for their three piece harmonies and jovial demeanour on stage, the group has continued to make an impact in the four years they've been together.

Now a four time nominee at the MusicNL awards, the band first gained popularity in 2020 with a ‘facebook live’ show during the COVID-19 pandemic. What started as a way for the three to have fun together during trying times, turned into a weekly event on Tuesday evenings; at times reaching audiences of 32,000 people. Kitchinparti has released two albums to date and garnered over 200,000 streams across all platforms. Playing over 200 times in the past year, the band has crafted shows to fit a variety of venues.

Justin, Terri Lynn, and Tyler are a family band first and foremost, with the latter being brother and sister and the former a married couple. Every family event for the trio whether it be a wedding or a wake, typically ends with a session around the kitchen table. Their main goal is to help keep the traditional music scene in Newfoundland alive by adding new originals to its already substantial catalog, while also re visiting the songs of old.
