One of my favourite weddings from 2021. Gotta love the cheeky officiant!
So I just delivered Chelsea and Adam's short film from their recent Pop-Up wedding and no more than 20 minutes after, I got this. I could not be more thrilled with their response!!!
"Holy smokes, I cannot describe how much Adam and I love this. The product is amazing as our experience was. I am so happy you and Jay were apart of our day. You both were so fun, and made, at least me, feel so at ease. I will be sure to recommend you and Jay to anyone who will listen."

Colour is such a subtle aspect of a wedding film and it's something I love spending extra time on. Especially when there is so much great colour to work with.
A lot of factors contribute to the colouring a wedding film, from the mood/theme of the story, the venue, lighting, portrait locations - honestly, there are so many ideas that go through my head to list - but my favorite by far is to use the florals as a starting point when colour grading a film.
and wedding had some really beautiful floral designs done by the crazy talented and here are some of my favorites from that day.
So excited to be able to share Sean and Rebecca's wedding film. By far the most fun I've had editing and shooting - from sifting through every beautiful moment we caught to the music I got to select. Everything about it was a 10/10.
PS. You have to wait for the first kiss on this one, Father Roy was quite the character!

Why are bride prep shots so important to having a great film? And how can we crush it on your big day? π π π
Let's be honest - this day is about YOU. Youβve been dreaming about it since you were a little girl and OH MY GOD, itβs happening right now. The excitement of having all of your closest girlfriends and family in the same room while you get glammed up is a once in a lifetime experience.
Filmmakers traditionally aim to shoot AT LEAST 30% of their best looking footage during this part of the day. Not only because it's when you are going to look your absolute best, but it gives us an opportunity to have a more relaxed and controlled environment where we can make every shot look stunning!
So what are some things you as a bride should consider before bridal prep?
Donβt worry! Be happy! - From your bridesmaids to the planners, make-up artists and hair, these people are here for you to take any stress off your back. Know that you can count on them and donβt be afraid to ask them for help!
Pretend I am not here - Easier said than done. I know. This is why I LOVE getting to prep a little early. It gives me time to get to know the bridesmaids, and give everyone some time to adjust to having a camera in the room. Be yourself, go with the flow!
Find the light - No, not in the metaphysical sense lol I mean beautiful, natural daylight. If the photographer or myself get to your room before your MUA, we will take care of this for you. If scheduling does not allow, request that the artist places you near a window when they arrive. Soft, natural light is the most flattering light we can work with and will make you look gorgeous. This is a promise.
Trust your artists - We are ALL here to make you look and feel beautiful and we onlywant to use footage in your film that makes you look and feel beautiful every time you watch your film.
