We're looking to add a few amazing new Event Consultants to our team!

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, the Event Consultant is the first person our clients or potential clients will have contact with and as such, will need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills, develop relationships and deliver exceptionally positive experiences.

You will represent Salmon's Rentals & Apex Tents commitment to 'Covering the Events of Life' as a trusted, experienced supplier, who is focused on the client's needs/objectives and the best solutions to fulfil them.

The Event Consultant needs to demonstrate an uncanny likeability, be a good listener and be able to handle problem solving and issues management effectively and efficiently.

Qualifications:

- Sales and customer service experience
- Proficient in MS Office, use of internet, Point of Rental System (an asset, not required), applicable data bases and office equipment
- Basic math skills to work through potential challenges with tenting and applicable rental items.

Based out of the Salmon's Rentals & Apex Tents head office in Burnaby, BC and reports directly to the Sales Manager.

We are SO excited to finally share our big news! We’re happy to announce that we’re the proud new owners of these absolutely stunning Tidewater Sailcloth tents, ready for use this coming season!

What an absolutely amazing way to make a statement at a wedding, private function, or other outdoor event! Their east-coast style and charm make the perfect backdrop for adding a little flair to your special day.

The translucent cloth top allows for sunlight to softly pour in and lets the interior lights shine through at night. The sculpted peaks and wooden design make for an event space like no other!

GOOD MORNING! We were just talking in the office here and we realized how THANKFUL we were for such a wonderful summer season, and that couldn't have happened without all of you amazing people! We found ourselves surrounded by beautiful couples getting married that were the polar opposites of Bride and Groomzillas, pleasant BBQers, some crazy fun festival people, and all you who like to throw elegant dinner parties! We hoped you enjoyed the summer even half as much as we did!

Our second year of supplying staging and tenting for the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at Deer Lake Park, Burnaby after what looked like a rainy day the sun shined bright and the free concert broke attendance records with over 12,000 people coming out.

We got this awesome photo collage from one of our customers this weekend! They used the Avignon dishware set, dusty rose linens, a stainless steel ice tub, natural wood resins, pedestal tables, and one of our beautiful cupcake stands! What a great Sunday for a garden tea party.

Another and we have more tools for you to use! www.weddingwire.ca is one of the tools your friendly neighbourhood event consultant, Breanne Agnew, is using to find her vendors! The website comes complete with a wedding planning guide for couples and an easy way to contact multiple vendors at once (say you want to talk to 6 florists, no copying and pasting for you!). If you look hard enough, you may even find Salmon's Rentals and Apex Tents hiding in the rental section!
