Today is International Waffle Day! Who knew? 🤷‍♀️ You'd think they would at least have it on a Sunday! 🧇

Wow! 🤯

I made my first soup in the Deluxe Cooking Blender this week and it was amazing! Total game changer to be able to make fresh homemade soup in half an hour with only a few minutes of prep. I just added my ingredients and went back to work!!

The soup was so delicious I forgot to take a picture before we ate it. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Next time!

Nathan likes his food super hot so I was worried it wouldn’t be hot enough but it was so hot and delicious. Two thumbs up from the husband!! 👍🏻👍🏻

Loving this Deluxe Cooking Blender! The one thing I actually used our vitamix for in the past was margaritas on a couple of occasions. I found this great whole fruit margarita recipe that uses a whole (peeled) orange, lemon, and lime and it is the best I’ve had. So it was the true test of this new blender to see if it could do the job. I was IMPRESSED! It blended the drinks so quick that I could hardly believe it. 3 full fruit and 6 cups of ice and it turned into this in 23 seconds. The Vitamix is officially out of our kitchen! 🍹

Fresh turkey club sandwiches for lunch! Here’s how I use the air fryer to make bacon! 🥓

Note: I did add about 8 more minutes to the time on this bacon - as I say in the video it is all up to how you like it! I like mine crispy.

Hockey Day in Canada today! If we are going to be bundled from the cold all weekend this is not a bad way to spend it!

We continue enjoying the Deluxe Cooking Blender and this afternoon made the Nacho cheese sauce! It was sooo tasty.

We followed that up by using the sauce on our enchiladas tonight, served up hot in the enameled cast iron. Game changer!

Hot new item around our house - the Deluxe Cooking Blender! (No pun intended 😂) So excited to try this out.

Yesterday Nathan tried out the hot chocolate recipe and it was so tasty - can’t wait to try it with the girls this weekend as we have another chilly weekend!

Tried something new this week - grilled cheese in the Air Fryer! It was deliciously tasty and melty (and not burned)! Will definitely be doing this again!

The Santoku knife is a dream for cutting anything so no squished sandwich at the end!

Well Tom Brady came through with a decisive win! 🐐 and the Weeknd had a pretty solid halftime show too!

No surprise the Air Fryer came through as well with some delicious dry ribs from Costco (new find!) they were tasty and so easy in the Air Fryer and kept them warm in the Insulted Bowl!

Super Bowl Sunday - what a great day. So much build up, excitement and entertainment! Having been there once to watch my team lose and once to watch them win I can say that it is an amazing experience!

New item around our house - the Whipped Cream Maker! We used it this morning to make super fluffy delicious scrambled eggs but I’m looking forward to trying it for whipped cream too (it even does butter!)

It’s snowy and windy out there and although Frosty is loving it in the yard, I’m happy to be cozy working at home today. A day like this calls for a hot lunch so the Air Fryer came into action with a favourite around here - the Stromboli!

One of many great recipes that comes with the Air Fryer. Today I did a simple pepperoni/summer sausage but we have done lots of modifications on this recipe!

Oh and did I mention how much of a dream the Santoku Knife is!? I received it this week as part of my new consultant kit and have been loving it. A truly good sharp knife makes cooking so much more enjoyable!!

I love baking with my kids! Teaching them to measure, mix and even crack the eggs. I don’t love egg shells in my food though, or picking them out of the bowl! So I use the prep bowls for egg cracking and other messy ingredients! 🥚🥚

Happy Groundhogs Day!

I’ve always thought this day was fun but very silly because let’s be honest - we have a long way to go for winter! So when I saw the below post I thought it was perfect!

But Canadians find the joys in winter which for us this weekend involved some skating and some turkey soup! Frozen turkey and broth from the freezer and with the help of some of our Pampered Chef tools like the Food Chopper whipping up a pot of tasty soup with lots of veggies was a breeze! And the house smelled so cozy and delicious!

How do you all make the most of these winter days? I would love to see some photos (or recipes)!!
