Who is NZANE?

Starting in corporate, I made the switch to pursue music while living in Calgary. I had always dreamed about DJ’ing, but never believed that me, a small-town q***rdo could make it doing it.

First, I financed some equipment and made the decision to get the ball rolling on this dream. Determined to make my place in the world, I committed to teaching myself how to DJ.

From Reddit to YouTube, to Crossfader tutorials, everyday I would try to learn something new. Once I felt I had a good base, I started created samples, putting together my first mix and like that NZANE Music was born.

My style was built from growing up listening to artists such as: Excision, Skrillex, DJ BL3ND, Zeds Dead, as well as a ton of punk influences too. I loved the variety these artists would bring to their sets, and wanted to bring that same energy into mine as well.

When I build my mixes, I build only with songs that make me feel something. So that when I’m playing live, my audience can connect to that energy and feel my music with me.

My goal?

To create an NZANE experience unlike any other 💖
