Hey, I’m Neesa.

I believe the best way to show someone you care is by throwing them a party they’ll never forget.

I’ve always loved planning parties. It started with my kids’ birthdays: Pinterest-level all out.

Growing up, I didn’t have those kinds of celebrations, so creating those moments for them felt extra special. Seeing their faces light up? That’s when I knew I’d found my thing.

I’m obsessed with the little details: the invitations that set the vibe, the thoughtful touches that turn an event into an experience, and the moments that stick with you long after the party’s over.

Now, I get to do that for other people, and honestly? It’s the best job ever.

Whether it’s a cozy dinner party or a milestone celebration, I’m here to make sure every guest leaves saying, ‘That was amazing.’

After setting up our Halloween mini spooktacular, my husband joked, 'We should have hired an event planner.' My first instinct was to look at him like he was crazy (Hello, I'm standing right here).

Because honestly, I felt that! The effort was real, and the aftermath? Exhausting. The thought of taking it all down and gearing up for the next one was daunting.

This is exactly why I'm passionate about helping others plan, host, and experience from start to finish.

When your client asks for scary... you deliver.

If you've been following along and haven't noticed yet, Halloween is kind of my jam. That's why I'm so excited to be a part of Equium's 2nd annual Halloween party.

The theme? Scary. And if I'm being honest with you, I nearly had a heart attack every time I walked past that nun. In broad daylight. While we were setting up. I'm sure you can imagine with the lights low, the fog rolling in, and wondering what that noise was behind you... (I'm not scared, you're scared).

This event had so many parts and new effects this year, like the hanging bar cloud (so cool, btw!), and some returning favourites like the themed missing posters for all the guests, next level catering to die for, and of course, all of the scaries.

Did you know your event planner writes her own murder mysteries?

Last year, I curated a Beetlejuice themed dinner party with details from the mossy decor to hand painted beetles. We celebrated with a Dinner for the Recently Deceased dinner party. I planned, wrote, prepped, cooked, and hosted (not a problem, right?) I loved it - my entire design I spent months planning was coming to light.

But can I be honest with you? I wasn't happy with the original photos from the event. They didn't capture the vision and the details I had poured so much into (you can ask my husband how many late nights I spent creating custom chargers). So, I did what any perfectionist planner would do. I recreated the setup for a mock shoot to make sure the images reflected the level of finesse I was looking for (huge shout out to for making that happen!)
