PANTY MAGIC spawned as a mix tape for friends,
delivering some nasty grooves and sexy soul into their earholes.
This blend of sounds was a mixture of acid jazz, rare groove, soul house,
2-step, jazz, neo-soul, afrobeat, funk rock and punk funk.

It's 2012, soul music has changed,
we have anchored ourselves amidst an era where the grooves
of this new pop music industry can be best described as
"making love...with one stroke."
Funk seems to be on the brink of extinction,
and Soul a genie trapped in a bottle.

The intention of this group is to create a soul and groove community
and bring to the surface, vintage and new funk tracks or videos clips that have
been bypassed or buried throughout time.

The Panty Magic group is also a hub to keep u informed
of any updates, shows or recent releases from old, new and
upcoming funk and soul artists internationally, or local.

Hopefully this group can unify us all in our utmost respect for the purveyors
of funk and soul...and keep it alive,
for soul is not just a genre,
but a way of life.
Consider the genie...emancipated...and thriving.
