Searching from the internet, I do not see a lot of portraits of Apo Wang Od so I always have this desire to have an exclusive portrait with her. January 2020, Frannz Morzo, Ryan Malabonga and I planned a week long trip to the north: From Baguio, Benguet, Banaue and Batad. for them, it was more for landscape photography, and I for portraits. Going to Apo Wang Od's village was in our itenerary so I brought 2 Godox lights with me, the Godox AD400 and V1. The travel to her community is a stiff climb so bringing heavy stuff is not advisable, but we still did even though we are uncertain if we can get a chance to have an session with her. at the end of the day we managed to have a 10 minute portrait session with apo before she began her usual tattoo session. Posting a black and white version.
