Very lucky to have such great people in Calgary... this mom set up a zoom workshop for her daughter and friends to do something creative during lockdown! From the safety of home, the product was left at their door and we made magic!

I am SO excited to do this wedding... I sourced some amazingly gorgeous lavender from in Creston to use in the bouquets, boutonnières and tables and I’m SO THRILLED with how they came out!! 💜💜 Stay tuned for photos this weekend! Added bonus: my studio space smells AAAHHHHHH-mazing.

It’s almost the long weekend!! And the best news; I have my first wedding of the summer next week! 🙌🏻
It’s been hard since the pandemic to juggle my home life (mom of three), home schooling (teachers did great, but we had some gaps to fill), my job (unfortunately I’m not a full time florist, yet!), and all the fun that comes with it. I had to step back from my dream career. I’m super fortunate that I still have great people to work with after all this, and very, VERY excited to get back to it!
I’m still just doing weddings right now, but hopefully can get back to more in September. ❤️❤️
Thanks for all the support and love this summer!!

Oh my gosh, I’m so glad you asked!
In 2017, Philadelphia introduced a new flag adding the black and brown stripes to the traditional six colors. This was meant to symbolize/include/bring awareness to POC (People of Color) who are the most marginalized and at risk of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Both flags are used. While there is some controversy over the new flag.. I honestly don’t care and we have both in our home and work spaces. The more rainbows for us the better. And that’s your morning Q***r History. xo🌈
