Our House Concert venue is closed. We are sorry we can no longer provide the kind of public space our current health issues need.

As with most every other House Concert venue, we are rethinking how and if to present House Conserts as the future roles out.

The OTHER side of Otter's Holt (the Otter side?) is David and Barbara performing together at Otter's Holt. Our first concert under our new name is at the 25th anniversay of Washington State's Tumbleweed Music Festival, which normally takes place live in Richland, WA, along the Columbia River at Howard Amon Park. Last year, everything was just virtual. This year, there will be a live element, but we are performing as part of the Virtual Festival.

Islands Celtic Festival goes live in just a few hours. It's not the "old" festival we knew on Hornby or the Main Island -- no Friday night jam session until the wee hours; no food and drink provided all day Saturday and Sunday; no chats with the tens of people we have seen off and on for decades. Unfortunately, that's gone this year, just as it was gone last year. But ... this will get you into the virtual festival. And with any luck, Islands Celtic will be back live in its new permanent home in Errington.

There are three workshops Saturday -
11-12: Dr Mary McLaughlin - Irish Gaelic singer and choir director, "Singing in Irish (Gaelic) with Dr. Mary McLaughlin"
12:30-1:30: "Intermediate West Coast Fiddle with Trish Horrocks"
2:00-3:30: David Denz -- you know --- THAT guy: "Arranging for DADGAD Guitar"

And there will be a Saturday evening virtual concert with submissions from some of the Festival regulars with guidance from the amazing Gareth Hurwood.

Ah, House Concerts. Wouldn't it be nice to have those again? Unfortunately, we do not see that in our future for quite some time to come.

So we're reinventing ourselves. We have begun a Virtual Open-Mic session once a week over Zoom. If you're interested in participating, send us a note.
