My name is Erika Blumhagen and I am a junior tattoo artist who specializes in black and grey fine line to create stunning floral and realism pieces, as well as smaller minimalist designs! My tattoo suite is based out of Holden, AB but was born and raised in the community of Castor, AB! I discovered tattooing three years ago and fell in love with the idea of having something so beautiful permanently be with you. I've devoted my time to learn all there is to know about tattooing and perfect my skills. I never imagined I'd have the opportunity to use my artistic abilities to bring people's tattoo ideas to life. I continue to build my portfolio with personal flash art designs and custom pieces to make anyone’s tattoo dreams a reality!

I was at the 100 women meeting when they presented and this is a great cause. I felt that mom’s heart and her sadness that her 5 year old in a wheel chair cannot play with his friends. Like she said at any moment it could be one of us.

I know once you see Jessica speak you will want to see her again (just not a week apart) our keynotes will be different but the high vibe will be the same. She’s not to be missed!

Prosperity is postponed 😔

We wish this was a sold out post but it’s not.

We are 100+ tickets away from breaking even on this event and it doesn’t seem hopeful that we will sell that many tickets in the next 2 weeks or be able to have a portion of our proceeds go to “Smile like Emily”.

As two entrepreneurs with a big dream of serving the women in our community with an event that will bring you JOY, EMPOWERMENT and leave you feeling INSPIRED I promise you this event will go on. Although this was not in the plans we are not quitters and this extra time will allow us to pour more time and energy into making this event experience 10x more elevated for you.

Jessica our keynote speaker is coming to Coronation on May 11th for their ladies night. We found out in discussion with Jessica when we questioned this booking so close to ours that Coronation was booked first. We WANT and NEED to support our neighbours so they get their inclusive playground. Just like we need to join forces so our kids can play hockey and ball. It feels like the right thing to do for us to step aside and help them meet their goal. We will be attending and we encourage you to join us. I will post their event and the link on this page. Get your tickets ASAP please. This matters to event organizers as it’s hard to plan for imaginary attendees.

We will have a new date in 48 hours. For now our ticket sales are stalled on the eventbrite site. Once we have a new date I will change the setting back to “on sale”

We will refund tickets to those that would like a refund or you are welcome to keep your seats for the rescheduled date. I know you will all be patient and kind as we navigate this process. We promise to make this right.

We truly are sorry for the inconvenience and wanted nothing more than to go ahead. We felt strongly that our vendors, speakers, caterer, and event rental companies needed this two weeks notice to be able to book other clients and halt preparations for our event.

Life and business is a constant pivot and we are choosing to see the good this situation may bring. For you and for us.

Michelle is an advocate for lifelong learning and for women investing in themselves. Her journey in health and fitness has lead her to receiving a diploma in Holistic Nutrition in her 40's. Changing the narrative around restrictive eating is her life's mission (where women don't feel like a 1200 calorie diet is their only option) Educating women on more healthful practices that enrich their lives and DO NOT make healthful living feel like a "to do list" is her privilege to teach and lead women towards. Michelle works with women online as well as locally in person and is the owner of Coulee Ridge Nourishment.

Her vision for this event is to bring a big city personal and professional development event to her small community. To celebrate and support other women in business and life in her surrounding local communities and to lift each and every woman who attends up! This event is for every woman, every age, every stage of life. The day has been curated perfectly for each of you.

We are a girl tribe situated in small town, rural Alberta with big dreams on our minds. Our life is pretty simple - we play hockey in the winter and go for walks and in the summer we spend time at my parents acreage. Board games are our favorite, treats are a pretty big highlight in our day to day life but mostly we dream about traveling together and seeing the world. If we had the choice, we would be soaking up ALL the lake life in the summer months. For now, we spend a lot of time listening to music and laughing about things that probably wouldn't make sense to anyone else!
Sweet Three Designs began as a hobby used to teach my girls about running a business and has grown into a complete lifestyle for our family. I had a strong passion when starting this business to make sure my girls always business knowledge and skills in their back pockets as they grew up. No matter what they choose to do in their careers or where in the world they decide to live, business skills will always be an asset to the life they create.
