It is with great regret that we announce the cancellation of the Anthony B concert in Duncan BC Friday Aug 19 & Vancouver Aug 20th.
The Cowichan Reggae Society added this event to our calendar with great hope and expectation that this Reggae star would deliver a memorable and historic performance in his first time in British Columbia.
Our non profit society purchased this show package from Amexem Cultural Society from Burnaby BC.
The performer failed to apply for his working papers in a timely manner.
As a result, the Vancouver and Duncan shows have to be cancelled. Both the Cowichan Reggae Society and Amexem did everything possible on our end but ultimately we can not be responsible for untimely paperwork on the performer’s end.
We are deeply sorry for this cancellation as we had all looked forward to authentic Roots Reggae on his visit to the island. As a small organization with high hopes, this sets us back considerably.
We hope to add more exciting dates in the future and ask that you join us for more Reggae vibes down the road!
