Hello to all our valued vendors & followers,

We hope that everyone had a wonderful holiday season & wish you all a prosperous 2025 🤗

We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all the support over the past 3 years. Our family has really enjoyed organizing markets for all of you to showcase your businesses.

With so many changes over the last couple of years and with so many new markets we feel like the market scene is getting over saturated.

We did put out a poll and asked for feedback and after all the messages and emails we received we do not have enough interest to move forward unfortunately 😢

We are sadden by the feedback as we would have loved to keep going, but when we don’t have enough interest it’s not worth taking the risk. We work hard to make it as successful as we can, but when we have cancellations just before the market it doesn’t make the market as successful as we would like for all of you.

We have also had a hard year with people not being happy with our markets and then taking it to social media. We know some of you do and some that don’t understand what it takes to put these markets on, so when the people that have never done our markets read such things before giving it a try it makes it hard on organizers, as we haven’t been the only ones bashed.

The other challenge is all the new markets that are ran by vendor/organizers that are approaching vendors by saying that they should cancel with certain organizers and join theirs as it’s going to be more successful. This is a very unprofessional approach as no one can predict what kind of outcome a vendor will have at any market. Since we’ve been in the market scene on both sides of the scale for 35+ years we can honestly say it’s not the same anymore.

This may sound like a rant to some but for the ones that have gotten to know us well over the last 3 years will know we don’t hold back and are always upfront and honest with everyone.

So on that note we will truly miss you all and wish you all the best on your future endeavours and look forward to running into you when we go as a customer to markets going forward 😊

First and foremost we would like to thank everyone that has participated in HGE markets for 2024 as we truly appreciate it as we do it for you the vendors 🙂

On behalf of the Chester family behind HGE, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas & a very prosperous New Year!

Now on to 2025, we would love to hear some feedback as we work on possible future dates.

With the influx of markets and increase of cost for venue rentals for 2025 we are looking for vendor opinions on what markets you are more likely to attend before we set dates 🙂

We are thinking of combining our Easter & Mother’s Day as 1 big 2-day market and awaiting for approval on dates.

We have tentatively booked for the 4th Annual Spooky for October.

We are waiting for confirmation on the 4th Annual Christmas in the Country.

“We are super excited to announce that we have 2 amazing food trucks coming for both days 😋

Returning this year is The Fuzzy Pickle Gourmet Grill who will be serving up his famous Signature B-Licious Meatloaf Burgers as well as other yumminess.

Joining us this year is Thecrazygringo who will be serving up some awesome Authentic Mexican food that is made fresh daily.
