Our videographer has unprecedented access to the Matchmakers direct lines so when footage of "The Thickness" Reid Mathews hit the inbox it became clear we need to add one more bout to the card because this guy needs a fight.

Trained by the legendary Canadian pro wrestler Lance Storm , this product of the west coast has one speed -- FULL. When we reached out for comment he made things clear -- he's coming to Ontario and wants to fight any past or present New Frontier fighter who has a Deathwish.
..'Deathwish' you say? 🤔

The Matchmatcher either has a cruel sense of humor or none at all because when the request for someone with a Deathwish came in the decision to oblige him quite literally was swift. "Deathwish" Aiden Prince who has fallen out of favour with the fans over the past few shows for his erratic behavior kicking things within somewhat close proximity of others got one look at the same tape we were sent and begged the Matchmaker to oblige him.

Princey has been an absolute menace in New Frontier with his hardhitting but lightning quick blitzkrieg style going all the way to the King of Kombat 2024 finals before falling to the eventual winner Tarik but rebounded quickly with a viscous victory of fan favourite Travis Moore and looks to continue his path of destruction March 9th and make Mr. Mathews just another flash in the pan.

The Matchmaker is all about shaking things up and giving out oppertunity and that's why he has signed a 2nd debut match for Immortality III.

Charlie Hubley is quite an outspoken man whether it's his clothing, hair-do or even bigger mouth he's always looking to make a statement. Charlie first started growing his mullet on the east coast mouthing off and busting lips all across the Maritimes until recently coming to Ontario looking for some new competition.

Also making his New Frontier debut might be new competition in Cobourg but certainly not new to pro wrestling -- long time Kingston native CJ Felony is coming to New Frontier. With 20+ years experience, an underrated grappling game and penchant for prison riots CJ poses a serious threat out of the gate.

THE BLOODSTAINED HURRICANE MAKES LANDFALL MARCH 9TH IN COBOURG

There's no other way to put this other than brace yourselves and be prepared to get out of the way.

"The Grinder" Mark Shaw has a reputation for being a mean SOB and things haven't quite been going his way as of late. Back to back losses has put Shaw in quite the pi**ed off mood. Infact, Shaw hasn't tasted victory since him and Parkside got the dub pinning none other than his opponent in November back at Bad Omens, "The Bloodstained Hurricane" Jesse FN Amato.

Cobourg's favorite son also is coming off a huge loss at Dead or Alive against PD Skillz in that barbaric Deathmatch and wants to get back to his winning ways but there is just one problem... Jesse has never actually gotten a win over Mark Shaw ANYWHERE they have faced. With the actions of what we can only assume to be his former best friend Josh Vander Cruz still in his mind we don't know how things are gonna fare for him but what we do know is he is gonna show up swinging for the fences and deliver another unforgettable fistfight that only he can deliver.

Get your backhands ready and raise your hands to the sky once again as "The Savior of the Maritimes" Covey Christ is making his return to Ontario since going 2 rounds at King of Kombat 2024 defeating Bobby Sharp before succumbing to the eventual winner Tarik in the second round -- but like Vertigo , Covey knows how to leave an impression aswell and walked out with a whole stack of new fans impressed with 'The Technical Spectacle'

There's no real bad blood in this one , just a desire for the best competition in Cobourg and that's why The Matchmaker put the contract infront of both these men and got the ink dried in record time. Both these guys want the best so they got it! This is gonna be a f***** clinic.

A MAIN EVENT A YEAR IN THE MAKING

Tarik along with Adam Haze has been on one of the most incredible runs in professional wrestling over the last almost 3 years going a perfect 15-0.

Starting back in March of 2022, Adam Haze invited anyone in pro wrestling to step up and take Tarik's 'Mark Ass Buster Open Challenge' and one by one they all fell as Tarik dispatched the likes of Tyler Aero, Carter Mason, Invensible Jr, Guerrero Seiya, Empire, Steve Brown & Gabriel Fuerza.

In April of 2023 the Mark Ass Buster Open Challenge came to Cobourg and took centre stage as Tarik then defeated Travis Moore, Leyton Buzzard, John Greed, Vaughn Vertigo and the last one to step up and fall was none other than "Mother Superior" herself, Lufisto. It was then after 12-0 when the open challenges stopped and Tarik declared himself to enter King of Kombat 2024 last February amugst Canada's best and in one night defeated "The Van City Vulture" Judas Icarus, Covey Christ & "Death wish" Aiden Prince in one night to punch his ticket to the main event of Immortality III and shoot his shot at the Grand Championship.

If you are reading this thinking this is a shoe in for the title, think again!

Currently reigning as the New Frontier Grand Championship is Tyler Hill and he has been on top for over a year and a half and his journey there has been quite the ride too.

Originally walking into New Frontier on a vendetta to get revenge , "The Canadian Badboy" was making impressions on everyone early entering a bloody feud with Jesse Amato which resulted in Tyler Hill walking away from deathmatch wrestling to focus on being more well rounded in the ring, a decision many questioned and figured would never work -- They were WRONG.

Tyler Hill broke through and went on a streak of his own making his name by getting the job done in matches nobody expected him to win including handing the only other Grand Champion in New Frontier Craneo X (Rest in Peace) his first loss and his only other loss -- the one that crowned Tyler Hill then undisputed Grand Championship when he beat both Craneo and Rip Impact at Immortality II in a Steel Cage.

Since then he has been a fighting champion defending the belt both here and abroad stacking big wins against the likes of Gabriel Fuerza, Vander Cruz,NWA Star Kerry Morton & MLW's Akira.

Moral of the Story: This is a title fight between a man who hasn't been beaten and a man who doesn't get beat in big time pressure and finds a way against the odds.

THE DOCTOR IS IN!

Last we seen "The Doctor" PD Skillz him and Jesse Amato went to war at Dead or Alive in a brutal deathmatch that was so violent we were forced to take a year off but that's not gonna stop him from rollin' up to Cobourg on March 9th to spark a fight.

It was after the match Skillz and Amato shook hands in an epic showing of respect which "The One Man Cruzade" Vander Cruz was pi**ed about and made his feelings known by dropping his (assuming former) best friend Jesse Amato before Skillz made the improbable save. Seeing as Amato refused to fight his best friend at Immortality and signed a different match, Skillz didn't want to burn an opportunity to pass a beating on Vander for being such a P.O.S!

Vander on the other hand is pi**ed off claiming The Bloodstained Hurricane is ducking him but claims to be more than ready for whatever prescription decides to write but one thing is for sure ... PD won't be able to use his spikey Gusset Plate Pain Roller as The Matchmaker will be cracking down on the Rules of Engagement and with PD being a repeat offender he found himself at the top of the watch list.

Will Vander Cruz be able to capitalize on PD Skillz new found intense scrutiny from the Matchmaker or will the only Cruzade he goes on be one where he rolls up and gets smoked?

COBOURG - THE ODYSSEY BEGINS FOR 2 FEROCIOUS FEMALES

The self proclaimed "Main Character", Shilo is looking to prove that she should be just that amongst the women of New Frontier and has been signed to make her debut on March 9th in Cobourg. While it might be her first match in New Frontier, Shilo is no rookie. Currently holding 3 championships she understands when her Odyssey begins here none of that matters as her record is just the same as her opponent... 0-0-0! A master of a legdrop-bulldog which she calls "The Character Assassination" Shilo is guaranteed to show you that she is every bit as tough as she is stunning. While she comes with championship experience... its experience itself her opponent lacks but that doesn't mean Shilo isn't in any sort of jeopardy.

While very little is known about her opponent SENTAL, she also is making her debut with something to prove. Hailing from Kingston ON 2077, this futuristic female is fully aware of the competition that awaits her in her odyssey's infancy. What the matchmaker sees in SENTAL is unknown for the moment but on March 9th she will have every opportunity to expose it to the world. Lets see what you got kid.

INTERPROVINCIAL DOORS TO SETTLE THE SCORE

It's been a while so let's start this with a BANG. 3 teams from different parts of the country collide in a match where you need to be the last team standing by putting everyone else in the match through a door to eliminate them.

Team 1: Airstrike. (Ontario)
Tyler Aero and Mike Forte are back and looking to represent Ontario by picking up where they left off last time you saw them a year ago when they defeated The Old Age Renegades here in Cobourg. A combination of speed and technical ability along with being the only 2 to have competed in a Doors to Settle the Score makes these 2 hard to get against.

Team 2: For the Glory. (Quebec)
Who doesn't love the kid prodigy EXeSs jr. ? Since he was only 17 he has been wowing Cobourg with his thrilling high risk high flying offence to the dismay of his father and tag team partner Exess who wants Jr to take a more grounded approach to his craft. Needless to say the typical teenager often disregards his fathers instructions to the delight of everyone. Regardless of their family dynamics they do find ways to get the job done with Exess' powerhouse hard hitting prowess combined with Jr's death defying acrobatics.

Team 3: Sabotage (Nova Scotia)
FIGHTING out of Halifax, Nova Scotia representing Maritimes Most Wanted , Sabotage are 2 badasses making their New Frontier debut and are fixing to make a statement and rack up a bodycount.

"The Newfoundland Nightmare" Justin Newhook and "The BlackWing" Matt Connors are no strangers to chaos and destruction -- with both men standing at 6'2 and weighing in at a combined 469lbs these two veterans are the biggest dogs in this war who can do it all and plan to showcase exactly that at the expense of 4 other men.
