Our 2023 wedding season came to an end a few weeks ago, but it's already time to start planning for next season.

We still have a few dates available for next summer, but July and September are filling up quick!

Booking your date early means we can custom grow your flowers or match your palette, and ensures you don't miss out.

PS. I also absolutely LOVE early season weddings where we can use our peonies 🩷🌸✨️

It's time to think of spring! 😩😂

Our fall bulbs will be arriving soon, and this year we will have some extras to spare. I'll also be digging up and moving our speciality narcissus bulbs (pictured), so we will have some of those available too.

Fall bulbs can be planted up until the ground is frozen, so you still have lots of time! We have some beautiful double and peony style tulips coming in that would make a great addition to any garden.

I'll be holding a workshop THIS Sunday, October 1st! Join us to create your very own dried floral pumpkin centerpiece 🎃
These make a wonderful addition to your Thanksgiving table, and add a beautiful touch to your fall decor.

40$ per person, and we provide the pumpkin + the dried flowers, and all other supplies, so all you need to do is show up and have a great time!

You will have a choice of orange or white pumpkin and a wide variety of dried flowers to choose from so you can create the perfect centerpiece.

We will be hosting this workshop on the farm in Golden Valley, and pre registration is required as we will have limited spots available .

Hi folks! Unfortunately we have to cancel our bouquet bar tomorrow. We have a house full of sick kids ATM and it just won't be feasible to run the event while caring for them. Our hopes are to reschedule the event for next Sunday, September 24. This will be TBD though, as we are getting to the part of the season where a frost could come anytime. I will announce for sure come the end of the week.

I apologize to everyone who was excited to come out and we really hope to see you next week 🫶

Despite losing a ton of our sunflowers to the deer this past week, we still have lots of other flowers 💐

We'll be adding some protection to the fall crop of sunnies this week and try to find a way to protect the field, too.

I'll say the worst part is how they love to snack on them RIGHT before they are about to bloom 🙃

Things will be on pause around here as we take a little break from the farm this week. It may seem like an odd time to leave the flowers, but we are just on the verge of the summer blooms, and with any luck, they will be in full swing when we return.

Summer blooms are finally here! We had some issues with our first round of sunflowers, so no sunnies yet, but they are coming soon.
You can find us and our flowers at the powassan Farmers market this Saturday from 9am-1pm, and it's Christmas in July, so you don't want to miss it!

Closing out the week by doing a whole pile of farm chores we've been putting off. The birds are getting a much needed fence, coops are getting cleaned, jam is being made, weeds are being pulled and it's so fulfilling when you can knock another task off the never ending to do list.

Our flowers, and veggies tbh, are still coming along very slowly, but things should start picking up soon! Getting our farmstand up and running is also on our list, and we are hopeful that it will be ready just in time for the harvest season ❤️

Also on the plus side, we had some adorable new baby chicks hatch out today 🐣🐣
You can spot them in our stories today and probably every day because they are the cutest 🥰

Important UPICK update - and unfortunately not the one we wanted to make. We will NOT be open for picking this weekend. We are so, so close, but we just don't have enough flowers in bloom to welcome anyone out just yet. We are beyond disappointed, but such is the way of farming. We are still looking forward to opening up very soon, but we want to make sure everyone who comes out has a truly amazing experience, and that's going to take just a little more time.

We will update you as soon as we are ready, and we really appreciate your patience 🩷

We've been getting a ton of questions and inquiries regarding the upick and our opening date, so here are some facts for you:

× Tentative opening date is still JULY 1ST. Things are growing well, but it's still too early to know for sure if everything will be ready.

× What are we growing?

× Dogs are not allowed in the UPICK area, but leashed dogs are welcome in the seating/picnic area.

× We will be accepting cash, cards, and etransfer.

× We will be open until the first frost, usually sometime in mid September.

× The sunflower patch should be ready by the end of July 🌻🌻

This weather has really been messing with the flowers, but the ranunculus are still thinking of making an appearance, and the peonies will definitely be here soon.
