We are a husband and wife team specializing in video and photography. We have a passion for story telling and capturing authentic moments and emotion.

This page is a way for us to showcase some of our projects. Nicholas heads up the video side of our company as well as offering his services externally for production management and post-production work. Laura heads up the photography side of Paraphrase Productions offering photo shoots to individuals and families. To "paraphrase" is to express the meaning of something using different wor

ds. In our work, we seek to convey something that is intangible, like emotion, into something that people can see. We desire to seek out clarity and purpose in what we communicate by taking something that is stale and lifeless, and giving it emotion and story. In essence, paraphrasing it.

This was SUCH a fun project. He’s an artist who has been doing photo shoots over the years where each one tells a progressive story, and now he has settled into the woods as part of that narrative. I’ve done website and blog shoots before but never one with as much thought behind it. Excited to send off his gallery this afternoon!
