Info About the Comox Valley Clubhouse:

We hold an Occasional Care License with VIHA which means that we can care for children 1 - 3 days a week in our morning or afternoon program.
We realize this is not helpful to those requiring full-time care and know that it is disappointing to some of you that we are unable to have our facility offer more care services including accepting subsidy.

When we transitioned last year from the Playhouse Cafe to the Comox Valley Clubhouse we kept the tables, toys & slides and tried to offer a casual child care service, in addition to the parties and events that are often held here. Due to COVID we were unable to accommodate anything more then just the child care.

Our maximum child care capacity is 10

We have a 1500 sqft facility with a separate backroom and super fun play area

With less COVID restrictions in place we are now able to offer Birthday Parties & Facility Rentals once again! Please get in touch if you would like to hold a special event at the Clubhouse or arrange a time to view the facility and see if its the right fit for you & family! 🙂

Summer Clubhouse Update ☀️❤️
*Our building went up for sale!! This means we are awaiting news of either staying in our current location OR possibly having to find a new one when we meet the new owners (whoever they end up being)!!!! With this is mind, we are running our childcare program on a month by month basis.

*We do have a couple of spaces available for 1 day of care in July and August for Friday! The morning program runs from 8:30am - 12:30pm and is fun F-U-N fUn for the little ones 😀

In March we have 2 part-time spots available for a child aged 18ths - 36mths , either Monday's & Wednesday's OR Tuesday's & Thursday's 8:30am to 12:30pm
Healthy snack included, Music time, Arts & Crafts, Bouncy Castle, Large Indoor Play Area, Yoga & Stretching, Puzzles & Sensory Bins, Games, Dancing and lots of laughing 😃 Outdoor time & walks beginning in the Spring.
Cost: $50/day

The Wait List 😕
An ongoing problem with Child Care in the Valley since spots are limited!! Although we do not offer full-time care we are able to do part-time with max 3 days a week.

COVID precautions here @ the Clubhouse:
-We are asking Parents & Caregivers to not enter the building so as to limit public exposure (a mask is required if entry is needed).
-We have cancelled all public events, birthday parties and any other facility rentals until further notice
-Child Care is currently the only service being offered
-Children within the facility are practicing frequent handwashing

Supplies will be divided for each family with things like scissors and glue sanitized and only used once per session. Tables will be spaced out to allow for distancing.
