Remembering Mette ’MamaBlizz’ Jensen

I’ve started a GoFundMe to help raise funds for a memorial bench outside of where my mom worked. She worked for The City Of Delta at the Rec Centre in South Delta for 30 years. This will be the best way to have her memory and what she did for the community remembered.

It is with profound sadness we announce that Mette Anita Jensen, age 69, lost her battle with cancer on January 2 2023.

Mette had a vivacious one of a kind personality and a laugh that could brighten the world. She made friends everywhere she went and she will be missed by all.

She was the beloved mother of Trevor and daughter of Lis & Keld.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held in the near future. Details will be announced at a later date.
