New Beginning Church Hosts the Community Flea Market Event on Victoria Day Weekend!

Clarence-Rockland, February 7th, 2024: New Beginning Church is excited to announce its Community Flea Market event, scheduled to take place on May 20th, 2024. (In case of rain, May 25th, 2024). This event promises to be a highlight of the Victoria Day Weekend in Rockland, offering residents and visitors a unique opportunity to buy and sell a variety of items while supporting a worthy cause.

Given that the scouts will not host the event this year, and that this initiative/tradition has proven to be such a wonderful community event in the past, we've made the decision to temporarily host this event until the scouts are ready to resume it.

At the New Beginning Church Community Flea Market, vendors will be able to rent space to sell their items, and all proceeds from the rental will go directly to Hands of Hope, a free used clothing ministry serving needy families in the Clarence-Rockland and Prescott-Russell area. Hands of Hope, a subsidiary ministry of New Beginning Church, is dedicated to providing clothing assistance to individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet.

"We're thrilled to introduce Hands of Hope and to support families in our community through this initiative," said Pastor Eric Tremblay. "Our mission is to provide clothing assistance to those in need, and the proceeds from this event will go a long way in helping us achieve that goal."

The Community Flea Market in Clarence-Rockland will take place at New Beginning Church located at 954 Giroux St., Rockland, from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Vendors interested in selling items at the event can reserve a space by contacting 613-446-7586.

New Beginning Church invites everyone in the Rockland community to join in the festivities, support a worthy cause, and enjoy a day of camaraderie and bargain hunting. Don't miss out on this exciting event!

Clarence-Rockland, le 7 février 2024 : L'Église New Beginning est heureuse d'annoncer son marché aux puces communautaire, prévu pour le 20 mai 2024. (En cas de pluie, le 25 mai 2024). Cet événement promet d'être un moment fort du week-end de la fête de Victoria à Rockland, offrant aux résidents et aux visiteurs une occasion unique d'acheter et de vendre une variété d'articles tout en soutenant une bonne cause.

Étant donné que les scouts n'organiseront pas l'événement cette année et que cette initiative/tradition s'est avérée être un merveilleux événement communautaire dans le passé, nous avons pris la décision d'accueillir temporairement cet événement jusqu'à ce que les scouts soient prêts à le reprendre. .

Au marché aux puces communautaire de l'église New Beginning, les vendeurs pourront louer un espace pour vendre leurs articles, et tous les profits de la location iront directement à Hands of Hope, un ministère gratuit de vêtements d'occasion au service des familles dans le besoin de Clarence-Rockland et de Prescott-Russell.
