Perhaps one of the most common questions we get at Burke’s Tent Rentals is “what size of tent should I rent?”
Different types of events require different amounts of space. For example, an average sit-down dinner reception with buffet tables, bar area and maybe a dance floor will need 15-18 sq ft per person. You’ll need approximately 1800 sq ft to host a dinner reception for 100 people, a 30x60 pole or frame tent would be recommended.

What style of tent should I rent?

There are three types of tents to choose from at : ClearSpan, Pole

and Frame.

A ClearSpan tent has no centre poles, no guy ropes and has kedered sidewalls (attached at the top and bottom). A ClearSpan

tent also has optional clear roof panels for dancing under the stars.

A Pole tent has centre poles which provide sweeping high-top peaks, has guy ropes around the edge of the tent and needs to be

anchored into the ground.

A Frame tent has fewer guy ropes than the pole tent and no centre poles. It can be anchored with either tent stakes into the ground or with concrete block if ground anchors are not an option.

Choosing a tent comes down to your aesthetic preference, budget, and location.
