☕️Spring Tea & Garden Centre Open House🌸

Celebrate the beginning of Gardening Season!

For the last two weekends of May, join us for a garden lunch at the Galloway House while you tour our greenhouses to inspire your gardening plans!

We will kick things off with a Spring Tea on Mother's Day weekend, Saturday May 11th. Sample typical tea fare farm-to-table soups, sandwiches and desserts, along with unique tastes inspired by our spring greenhouse offerings. We will have three seatings at 11 am, 1 pm and 3 pm, followed by a create-your-own dried floral arrangement session.

Cost is $25.00/person with the option of completing a dried flower arrangement for an additional $15.00. Photos can be found in the discussion tab of this event.

Pre registration is required by sending a message directly to our page. Please send your name, email and number of guests to our page. See you there!

🥞We’re celebrating maple season here on the farm! Join us Saturday April 6th, from 9 am to 1 pm for a farm to table pancake breakfast, followed by wood oven pizzas served from 2 pm to 6 pm. The trails will be open, with a few trees tapped, the farm animals 🐮 will be about, and of course the dogs 🐕 will be here to play with. This year's events will be hosted at The Galloway House located at 112 Levy Rd East. (Just two mins from our main farm location)

🥞 Breakfast Includes :
Sourdough pancakes and toutins. Fruit compote from our own farm fruits. Maple baked beans with smoked Berkshire pork hocks. Choice of homemade pork or turkey maple sausage. Roasted potatoes. Juice, coffee or tea.

Cost for breakfast is:
$15/ adult
$10/child

🍕A variety of pizzas will be served in the afternoon along with our specialty maple glazed pizza !

Margherita - tomato sauce stewed from our own garden tomatoes, with fresh mozzarella and fresh basil from the greenhouses.

Ode to Maple - maple glazed pork belly on maple dijon aioli topped with glazed veggies and cheese.

The Turkey - maple infused turkey sausage on our own pizza sauce with caramelized onions and cheese.

Pepperoni - pepperoni on our own pizza sauce with mozzarella and parmesan.

Garlic Fingers - homemade garlic aioli with mozzarella and choice of dipping sauce.

REMINDER: New location is 2 km from the main greenhouses, 112 Levy East Rd. If coming from Riverview, take your second road on the right.

🍁 A Galloway House Maple Evening 🍁

Chef “Stefan Mueller” joins us a second time on the evening of April 5th to create a meal, honouring the bounty of our natural surroundings, with Maple as the star! Savouring the best of this past season’s harvest and this spring’s bounty. Space is limited to 18 guests and the experience begins at 5:30 pm. Price is $125.00/person. Reservations are required and can be made by sending a message directly to our page or contacting Farmer Brown’s at 506-734-1908.

SOAP MAKING CLASS !! Acquaint yourself with the basics of sourdough bread and pasta! For those that make it, they realize the simplicity. For those wanting to learn, it can sometimes seem daunting.

Join us as we take you through the steps of creating sourdough bread and pasta. We will enjoy a meal together of fresh pasta and sauce. While making the sourdough bread you will learn the basics with a simple recipe. Everyone will go home with your own sourdough starter so you can start creating.

Join Farmer Brown’s for our third annual Snowshoe “Poker” ramble in the woods - Saturday February 10th as part of the Town of Riverview’s Winter Carnival. Plan for an afternoon outdoors enjoying all that our region has to offer. Registration will take place anytime by from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the last hand submitted by 4:00 p.m. Snowshoes will be available for rent by registering in advance through Farmer Brown’s page. When you return there will be hot & cold beverages, s’mores, wood oven pizza, and more, available for purchase. Each poker hand will cost $25.00 with a cash prize for the winning hand and a variety of other prizes drawn for participants. (There is no age requirement). Trail lengths will be 1.8 kms and 6 kms in length - you choose !
