The 2024 Chillerpillar Open is in the books!
Three years ago we started an event to raise money for a community member battling cancer, with the side benefit of having a great Modern format event in Kamloops to bring the community together in support and to enjoy the game we love.
Thanks to the support of our founding sponsor Orchard City Games from Kelowna, and along with House of Cards from Abbotsford, and our very own Game Hub from Kamloops โ we were able to put on a two day event that fired 3 x Modern RCQS, providing 13 RC Seats, as well as multiple drafts and dozens of EDH pods at Thompson Rivers University in an incredible venue donated by the TRU Wolfpack.
We had over 85 players in the main room on day 1 for various events, with players flying in from the USA, Ontario, and all over British Columbia.
Letโs get down to the results! Without further delay.

As well as the countless volunteers that helped set up, take down, run the streaming, providing food and keeping the venue in great shape.
So a quick message from well, me, Snooch. If you didnโt hear me yelling all weekend I was the large guy dressed like a picnic blanket.
Thank you, everyone, for coming together as a community and making this years Chillerpillar the largest event in the Interior, and one of the best events Iโve ever attended.
Next year we will be back with another two day event, with modern and legacy and all the fixings. So keep your eyes peeled for announcements and happy spellslinging Planeswalkers.
Much love,
Snooch.
