Creative Okanagan We are a non-profit organization and member-driven community. We are an artist and event development society. We focus on arts and culture in our communities.

Our mission is to build a stronger music ecosystem by creating and encouraging accessible music experiences that serve audiences, artists, and stakeholders in the Central Okanagan. We strive to support and invigorate artists and the communities in which they live and we serve. Our projects include an artist development series running during the winter and we currently produce events such as the We

st Kelowna Music in the Park and the West Kelowna World Music Festival. We have previously produced Talented Kids, Talented Kelowna and Global Music Fest. We are currently working on broadening our reach to more artists and developing new events.

🎶 Hey, Okanagan Musicians! Mark your calendars for January 23rd! Join us for Route to Success:Tips & Tricks for Touring Musicians, an industry panel where we’ll dive deep into the world of booking shows, festivals and tours. 🎤

Joining our panel are industry professionals:

✨ Mitch Carefoot from Thick as Thieves Entertainment, who’s been behind amazing events like Denim on the Diamond, AltiTunes and Kelowna Beer Fest, will share his insights on producing and promoting shows that rock audiences from 200 to 8,000!

✨ Tomas Avendano of Danio Management, who knows the ins and outs of artist management and booking with talent like Father Funk and Fort Knox 5, will guide us on navigating the industry’s twists and turns.

✨ And don’t miss singer/songwriter Nevaeh Dyson—she’s touring the UK and Canada, connecting through heartfelt storytelling and powerful melodies.

🎶 as we wrap up 2024, I want to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve had in the Okanagan music scene! 🎤💖 A massive THANK YOU to all the talented artists who brought their magic to Music In the Park—your performances have truly made this year unforgettable! 🙌

I also want to give a huge shoutout to Pusher Mitchell, ReMax, and the City of West Kelowna for their unwavering support. Your contributions make a huge difference! 💕

This year, we had a blast with In Tune, our music industry mixer events—thank you to the fantastic venues that welcomed us and fostered collaboration! 🎉

To everyone who joined our workshops, your enthusiasm for learning is what truly strengthens our community. We’re thrilled to announce even more workshops, industry panels, and performance opportunities in 2025!

🎄 We’re excited to share that we’re hosting the stage for this year’s Tree of Hope Light Up 💫 at the Landmark District this Saturday, November 23rd.

It’s going to be an incredible day filled with some great live music that you won’t want to miss! 🎸 🎶

But that’s not all. There’ll be a whole winter wonderland set up— skating rink ⛸️, Christmas market🎄, steaming cups of hot chocolate, and delicious s’mores stations and a chance to snap a photo with Santa himself (just a heads-up—make sure to book your spot in advance). 🎅

Headlining: only.shalisa - Country girl gone rogue! Shalisa, along with her dynamic companions Danny Mcbride and Torrey Woody, form a powerhouse trio known for their electrifying performances. Together, they blend modern and vintage sounds to create a fusion that’s uniquely their own.
