Having the opportunity to play live again has been a long time coming. My last couple shows have been exploratory, vulnerable, and compelling to say the least. As a hobby songwriter, I always strive to tell a story that is accurate and allows for the song to be played differently depending on the circumstances. Seeing people, reactions, and emotions is a highlight for me. As we continue to move forward, I think back to the days of our Driftwood Concert House - some of my favourite music experiences ever. We were all strangers at the beginning and friends by the end of the night. I hope we can get back towards the right direction so that events like the Driftwood and music can continue to be part of our community and social experience.
