I’m rather excited to announce this special show in a space that I’m thrilled to share with you all (location to be announced day of - stay tuned here)! When I started Many Moons I saw it as a continuation of the DIY shows I’d been putting on locally since I was a teenage. One of the first shows I ever booked was for Geordie’s old band the Salt Lick Kids at the Grad Club back in the very early 2000s. We were all just kids then and I’m so excited to bring back now, as he tours with an all star band, in support of his new album. Tambourine is a beautiful record that explores history and queerness in the time and places where we came of age. This is going to be a very special night! Especially with opening the show!!

💥 MOON KING - (Toronto, ON):
Turning (Inside Out)’ marks a continuation of Moon King’s partnership with Arbutus Records, following 2017’s breakout single ‘In & Out’.

In the early 2010’s, Daniel Benjamin was a part of the flourishing electronic music scene in Montreal, performing as a touring musician with Grimes, Sean Nicholas Savage and Doldrums, all while beginning to write & produce his own music.

A 2016 move to Detroit and immersion in that city’s vibrant dance music and DJ culture soon began to influence his own recordings, embracing a signature blend of underground disco and effervescent synthpop.

LEE PARADISE - (Toronto, ON):

After the frenetic rock of his band Hooded Fang and the psychedelic electro vibes of his project Phèdre, Canadian Daniel Lee, aka Lee Paradise, is back with a new solo album entitled The Fink (Telephone Explosion Records), a real sound journey to the heart of a world where the sun no longer shines and where humans have ceased to exist.

In theory, the end of the world and funky groove don’t have much to do together.

Yet, from this surprising association, Lee Paradise has erected a record from elsewhere, superimposing sophisticated electronic grooves, screaming cosmic synths and imposing bass lines.

Hey all! Jane Inc. with L.A. Foster is this Sunday! Keep in mind the ferry schedule when you're heading over. We highly recommend you catch the 7pm or 8pm ferry over to Wolfe Island from Kingston so that you don't miss any of the music at Hotel Wolfe Island. The ferry is unfortunately still docking at the winter dock so please keep that in mind. Plan to bike, drive, or car pool from the dock to the venue! Rides are available for those in need. Send a DM to inquire. See you at the show!
