I’ve been staring at this one photo far too long… softening here, adding grain there, taking it away, warming it up, reframing it. My little back-and-forth to add more magic makes me smile because, honestly, the changes are so slight. I even asked my son to choose between two versions, and he says: ‘What’s the difference?’ Lol. Oh my 🤦‍♀️… and then I realized, light already did its magic, painting her face so beautifully, there is not much that needs to be done. Buttt photographers know how easy it is to get trapped in the editing spiral🤦‍♀️

After a much needed holiday break filled with friends and family, celebrations, and maybe a little too much food, I’m so excited to get back to doing what I love so much - creating photography!

Taking some time off was wonderful (cozy nights and sleeping in), but I’ve been itching to grab my camera again and dive into this new year. It feels so good to refocus, recharge, and get those creative juices flowing.

I’m excited to see what the New Year will bring:)

Then, remember my Utah trip? I’m finally sharing some photos from it! I am literally obsessed with them. Looking back at these makes me want to pack my bags and do it all over again.😊
